Never played it myself. After wasting around a half year of my life playing EverCrack, I swore off MMORPGs and rarely played any kind of multiplayer games anymore. Playing was a lot of fun but too addictive for me... even needed to stop talking to a friend that had been the one to get me into it and was still actively playing herself since every time we'd hang out she'd eventually start talking about stuff from the game, which was like trying to get clean by hanging out with your dealer.

Hell, I totally agree, all those multiplayer online games can disintegrate you socially. A long time ago, I participated in some beta tests like call of duty, but the one that really derailed me was Astro Wars, a real-time space conquest strategy game. Starting from a first colonized planet, you had to invade or colonize the other planets of the solar system, then in neighboring systems, etc... Build spaceships to defend your planets and attack others, while building farms and dwellings to grow the population of each colonized planet, and increase resources and so on. A launched fleet could take days or even weeks to reach its destination, and if the fleet was too weak to eliminate any settlers already present, you would be ruined. And of course, we played as a team, at least if you wanted to last a while in the game. Each team built a forum for team members. Between the battle plans discussed on the forum, and the management of the game itself, it would have taken 48 hours in a day to do something else. It was completely crazy. At work, I programmed my calendar to remind me of the events of the game. I stopped playing it a long time ago, because I was starting to become an acro. The game still exists, but I forbade myself even to take a look

Sorry, didn't know you didn't have the information, but it's literally the rest of the conversation from Cece's path, when she stops to talk to the woman outside the hospital at the beginning of Chapter 8, but I'd have to go back and find it to find out which game she's from, 'cause I don't remember and not home, so can't help you thwart cxx's plan to frustrate you.
