OMG. I had the impression of the exact opposite. That is a heck of a fast pick up of a learning curve.

Just got done with the game so far. It's brilliant all around. Visually it is incredibly appealing, with an original MC that looks good and a set of equally interesting and original love interests that are very different from each other. The animations might be the best I've seen so far.
Writing wise, I have to say that my tired brain couldn't quite comprehend the last bits, but the revelation right at the end of EP 3 was half-expected, but I don't want to say more just so I won't spoil anyone. The story and its dialogues are very well written. I think I've only found myself once pressing ctrl for a bit.
The emotional moments hit hard, which makes me love and hate them for all the right reasons. They might be the best parts of this VN right now for me. Colleen has to be protected at all costs.
I feel like Jamie is by far the best LI, which makes me understand why she's been "nerfed" after EP 1, but all the LIs each have a different attribute that make them very suitable partners for the MC.
Armin is a legend, I hope all goes well for him. Sean and Donna (why does everybody call her Donna Lee?), too. All in all I have to say that the side characters are are also very well put together and feel "real" instead of just being talking puppets.
There are also many small gestures and such that make everything more lively and realistic, like the MC controlling the conversation at the wedding to make Emmeline feel less uncomfortable, or him not mentioning to anyone that it was Sean who killed his chances of getting into the NBA. Very human.
If I have to criticize something, it would be these things:
- I really would have liked to see the conversation MC and Jamie had inside his office as he told her he has a sister.
- ^ is especially valid because one other thing that gets a little tedious is the courtroom scenes which could be trimmed down a bit here and there. I know what's going on and the murder case is by far less interesting than the overarching plot or the "slice of life" aka relationship building bits.
- The MC moping around got a little old when Vega's unreasonable bitching got to him. Maybe that's because I basically played it all in one go, but I feel like I've seen a lot of "closing off" and "promising not to close off".
I put this on my watchlist. Can't wait for EP. 4!

I wouldn't download a game just for one character. And there are a ton of pictures online. I don't need to download a game just to see them. That pic is meh, to me anyways.
The game has no Anal either? booo.

First of, thanks Impious Monk for a really nice Story for a VN where it's not just about getting Characters having S*x with each other all the Time or clicking through a bunch of (nonsense) Tests to get to the next S*x Scene - because the "Story" doesn't really matter at all
- great Work on your Part here.Also the Images and Renders (Animations) are really looking awesome and are so different to most other VNs I have seen so far... the Characters look great and the mimics they show are also mostly like you would expect them to be in real life. I like these little "differences" they show sometimes in a short sentence they are showing.
Great work also by sandem237 with the animation rendering - they look again really nice and fluent and the view on the Characters are nicely chosen and detailed with there expressions (and motions) - great job.
I can't wait to continue with this Novel and see where it might take us in the future... keep it coming.

Just finished the update. I loved it!
Jamie is possibly the best looking LI in any AVN. I cant wait till things with her get some more progression. Great slowburn with a emphasis on story as well as the LIs.
That interaction with his ex about how he is really one of the bad guys in the courtroom even had me like.... damn, shes crucifying this duuudddeee. lol

Everyone's pretty much already mentioned all the things that make this such a great game, though for a porn game it's a little cruel to make the best looking female character one who is so off-limits it's not even funny. And before anyone hates on me, that was mostly a joke. and I definitely don't consider this a porn game.
I'll just play this game from now on doing anything Impious Monk allows me to, to protect and care for Colleen. I'll pick her over any of the LIs, over his job, over his principles. She is now all that matters.
I'm absolutely getting it on the 7th.

I've obviously no idea of how much we're going to be seeing of Colleen, or how she fits into the overall story, but if we could get a scene somewhere down the line where we get to do something really nice for her, I'd love that.
Something simple, like a little picnic in the park or anything to let them bond a little and let her breathe some fresh air (as fresh as it gets in California).

First thanks for the refresher, after a while and playing so many different titles it's almost impossible to remember details of a game. Visuals are excellent. Like the variety of LIs as well. Was hoping for more interaction between the MC and Colleen but one mark of a great storyteller is always leave them wanting more and I am definitely in that category. Despite the longer updates, which is sometimes difficult with limited gaming time, I am in for the long haul and probably one I will look forward to the most.
