Did you have your computer set to japanese locale when unzipping the game or use a unpacking tool that could change code to japanese? if you didnt then it might be an issue with files being messed up from improper naming and coding issues

Oh, I haven't touched any adult games in months... Let's see, was this one that had an official localization or no? How about trying to extract the game in Japanese? For instance, in 7z you can change the setting to the Japanese language and extract it that way. (By opening the archive and changing the language settings prior to the actual extraction.) I recall that was required for a translated Japanese game several months ago to extract correctly and avoid several issues due to how file structures still used Japanese characters. Might give that a go if this game is still causing you issues and that error is not something you can avoid. I'm surprised; though, that the error just popped up suddenly. Games not that long, litterly hold down Ctrl and it will skip text until one of the decisions, and the game dosent branch that much

Hey does anyone who experienced the layerExSave.dll plugin error have a solution for it? I don't know why this happens and I didn't have this happen on my old laptop so I'm pretty confused.
