"Funny" thing, if you aren't on the green path, I now can see Io slowly picking sexual interest on Akira just from the impact of him leavingGod fucking damnit. It feels so fucking wrong to destroy Io.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
The way I saw that making "sense" was from the previous talk with Yasu where he basically convinced himself into it, "this is the way, must swim" and what not. I am actually surprised you even have the option to leave and actually leave, I was expecting it to force you into it; but I agree with you entirely, guess we will have to wait and see how the story develops. Hopefully it pays off.Well... that was an update... and has horrible as it was, i've got to give Selly some chops for that scene, he captured the vacant disassociation pretty damn well... but i really can't fathom how this is the green path at this point in the game, i can't see how this could ever develop things well with Io and it's going to come out to Uta eventually too, she's already noticing her distance... the choice to leave makes far more narrative sense to the point where it's almost like Selly changed his mind and has decided against the green path being the 'true' path for his story... fixing Io with sex sounds like a bullshit fantasy fix for a child rape victim, and doesn't fit with the way Selly has treated the topic in the past, if Io does actually improve going down this path it's going to feel contrived and hollow...
There isn't really a "right" choice. You can make the choices you want, you'll reach the ending anyhow. You might not see some things, but, well, there's a strong argument to be made that some things you don't want to see.Fuck my need to not miss any event, I'll have to keep a spare save for each option fml. What sucks is that her next event is months away, there is no way of knowing what is the "right choice" to progress the story in the intended way; IIRC you need all events or at least something like that was mentioned? Either way, she did get the dicking after all holyyy.
Exactly my thoughts.Honestly i dont understand why NOT having sex with Io isnt the correct way to progress her storyline. Its as Akira said.Io doesnt want to have sex,she is allowing him to do so.There is no fucking way that Io,a victim of so much abuse only comparable to Akira, will improve after we had sex with her. This aint a Sana situation where, her deviant side was already there and we just awakened it a bit earlier. We are talking about a person as broken as Akira.Well... that was an update... and has horrible as it was, i've got to give Selly some chops for that scene, he captured the vacant disassociation pretty damn well... but i really can't fathom how this is the green path at this point in the game, i can't see how this could ever develop things well with Io and it's going to come out to Uta eventually too, she's already noticing her distance... the choice to leave makes far more narrative sense to the point where it's almost like Selly changed his mind and has decided against the green path being the 'true' path for his story... fixing Io with sex sounds like a bullshit fantasy fix for a child rape victim, and doesn't fit with the way Selly has treated the topic in the past, if Io does actually improve going down this path it's going to feel contrived and hollow...
The thing is though is that there really is a 'right' choice based on the information we have at hand, until the game is complete we can't know 100% but we've been punished before for missed scenes and the game makes a point multiple times about how our choices are just illusions and don't matter and the main one is simply that it's missed content, missing content, not different content, Selly doesn't split the game for A and B, there's just A or nothing, at most a comment on how we fucked up not choosing A. The only intelligent option for any player at this point in the game's development is to always assume the green path is the intended path until some evidence comes along to challenge that, and this latest Io scene is the first and only potential indicator for that possibility we have so far and as for making anything of it... we just have to wait and see. There isn't really a "right" choice. I have no idea why do people think this is a game about making people better.Exactly my thoughts.Honestly i dont understand why NOT having sex with Io isnt the correct way to progress her storyline. We are talking about a person as broken as Akira.
Im not angry or anything, just i really REALLY want to see how this proceeds.Like how will Akira having sex with Io make her better.Or has Sel chosen to abandon her from the very beginning?
Cause of the pure routes that each girl will eventually get. Also this is a story about broken people licking each others wounds and becoming better(Or more "Whole" if you want to be pretentious). Its a story about broken people suffering and Akira is at the center. As multiple girls have said in the past Akira has helped tremendously so now its time for them to help him(The uta event captured that perfectly tbh(Maybe my fav event in this update-Except like the obv lore relevant Yasu stuff i mean-).I have no idea why do people think this is a game about making people better.
Not sure that's what has everyone hung up, it's more that the game hasn't exactly been about making them worse, we haven't reached the dark part of the game supposedly, this is still the harem phase, if we were in the dark phase and this scene popped up i don't think anyone would be struggling with it in a narrative sense.I have no idea why do people think this is a game about making people better.
