Good game so far, however i keep getting issues in apartment--the walls keep changing and cutting half of the room off-unable to fix so i have to start a new game which is aggravating--ive tried to reload from an earlier save with no luck is there a way to fix it. The controls to edit-move furniture is a bit of a pain. The graphics are great and the overall play is great!!

I had the same problem until I was helped
Go to the options and check the box for "No Scene Redress". Then you keep on what you select yourself.
However, it should be deactivated again for certain actions, since you don't get the new clothes displayed when shooting a photo, for example, and then sit around naked.

Fixed outfits would be very helpful here.
So that you can compile and save several outfits only for work or sports, and the system then also selects only from these compiled outfits.

To be able to fix the redress thing without hitting "no scene redress", you just need to own appropriate clothing. Office jobs will look for "Office" in the name of the clothing. Same for other jobs like waitressing and medical and such. Those others actually have specific uniforms you can buy. Something I like to do is after getting a place to live, go splurge shopping at a department store and "Buy Apparel". Feel free to buy whatever you want, even if it throws you in debt. So long as you don't exit the Apparel menu, you can rack up as much debt as you want. But if you're in debt when you try to buy again, you'll get blocked. Why do this? If you're good looking enough (starting with pornstar or model fame doesn't hurt either), eventually you'll be contacted by the bank manager who will offer to wipe out your debt in exchange for sex. Another way to get tons of money fast: go to quests and do the "Bad girls Gone Worse" storyline. Available for men or women. There will be several sex scenes and at the end, you will get around 2 million!

So there's a quest to turn straight girls gay(well, bi) but is there one to make lesbians straight/bi?

I found a bit of a workaround with a lesbian best friend. "hire a hooker together" and suddenly the lesbian friend who shot me down previously has no problem giving up her virginity and being impregnated. Even gives the "you were my first" speech afterwards. lol

But then she's right back to not liking me as anything but a friend.

I know I can edit her into being Bisexual, but is there anyway to earn it?

And with the rape mod, is there anyway to not retain access to a girl afterwards? They instantly block after which I think deletes them from the game.
Ravenger6660 has made a scene named "convert" which has your character think of the npc they've had sex with, the fact they aren't normally interested in your gender, but you think you've converted them. When this scene fires, the npc will be interested in your gender from that point on. Check out ravenger's stuff! They do good work :3

I'm having an issue importing textures into the game.
Everytime a npc with imported textures leaves the scene and i check them up on "contacts", the texture doesnt save and it just goes back to default. The same happens with my chracter when i load the game.
Am I doing something wrong?
What is happening is that the textures you're using most likely have a space in the name of thier file. Make sure that any spaces in the file name are removed or replaced with an _ . Took me a bit to find that out.

Hello everyone,
Does anyone has a weird bug where every chubby/fat character I add to contact list reverts back to stick figure? I tried changing characters manually also, it's all ok until i do anything in the game then reverts after just one action. It's like a couple of morphs don't save. I used a couple of mods, but even if i removed them the bug was still there. Not like I miss fat characters, but who knows how many more morphs are not saving what you can't really tell at first glance. Any ideas what can cause that?
I've only seen that happen when I have the fat morphs set at 0. It's like the game first generates them with the fat morph and then realizes the mistake and removes it. And I've only seen it with the fat morphs others don't seem to have that happen or at least I haven't seen it.
Only time I've seen stuff like this happen is when a save gets corrupted. Unfortunately, the saves corrupt very easily for this game and the corruption has a tendency to spread to other save files. I most commonly see this after using a npc manager. I'm not sure why or even know if the npc manager is truly the cause, but it's common this happens after I use them. Try modding the appearance of other characters. Do the changes stick? If so, it could be what Armanadus stated, the game correcting itself. But if changes are not sticking for any characters, then you definitely have a corruption issue and need to cut your loses.

I'd recommend save/exporting any characters you wish to keep (you can import them later on a new game safely from your contacts menu with "Add Relative" or "Add NPC") by going to each character's "Edit Appearance" and saving in the top left corner of the screen. You can even save their stats. Avoid using a / in the name as that will create a new folder in "Modules" named whatever comes before the / and the file name will become whatever comes after the /.

After that, delete the saves folder in LifePlay/Content/Saves. Then, set the computer you are playing on to show you hidden files. Delete the "savegames" folder from C:/Users/(owner name)/AppData/Local/LifePlay/Saved. That'll act as a hard reset for LifePlay.

on that note, do their likes change as you do things? I mean, besides perversion/S&M and the ones linked to the perks you've chosen. I'd like to increase a partner's like of missionary for instance, does using missionary-even if your partner doesn't like it-eventually increase their like of it? yes, I know I can just go in and edit their stats but as this is a grind game I'd rather see some results from the grind. and this is kind of important, I have several poly lovers for my Female main, they essentially don't like ANYTHING in the sex moves (even with a strapon) that can get them to cum before their pathetic energy pool completely drains
Ravenger6660 makes a mod that allows you to talk with a npc about sexual and fetish preferences. Doing this will raise both your character and the npc's scores in the "likes" category. The only category it puts a negative on is anal. Dunno why, I guess Ravenger just doesn't like anal. Apart from that, I think the only way is to edit their stats. I ran a search for scenes that improve an actor's likes and the only references outside of ravenger's mods are scenes that explicitly create an actor liking certain things. It's admittedly not frequently used and, from a modder's standpoint, isn't referenced in the help docs for creating mods which is why it's not commonly used.

Came across a weird issue after installing some mods. At game start, I can't equip any of the clothes from the menu (unless it's glasses, armband. or necklace), and I don't have either a phone or computer. I can, however, wear the clothes that I buy.
Does load order make any difference in LP?

Oh, wait, never mind. There's a button that fixes this.
I noticed you struck through the question of "Does load order make any difference in LP?". The answer is 'yes'. Like Skyrim, mod load order is in reverse, so anything below is overwritten by something above. For instance, People who have made mods that rewrite things from the vin_NonConcensual should be above vin_NonConcensual on the listing to be considered "below" on mod order.

If you're talking about the in-game mod manager then mods lower in the list override ones above it

If it's in the game then you'd have to either randomly start with it in your inventory or you'd have to buy it at a store
It only appeared to me once and I didn't find it again when I started a new game and I don't find it in the store
