General Feedbacks and/or Reviews.
The renders and visuals are great, complimented by the RPG medeival theme ( font, icons, menus, environments, costumes etc. )
The female NPCs ( especially the LIs ) are visually stunning and hawt
The BJ scenes are hawt and well-made IMO. The sex scene is a bit underwhelming but it is not big deal IMO because it is not the main focus of the game and it can be improved later ( with experience ). I really like the nude scenes, they are really good especially the waterfall scene
The musics and sound effects are very nice to the ears. Waterfall ( folklore ) song is nice
Writing is very good, well-written plot ( the story itself is already complete ) and comfortable pacing. The game has well-established bounded context, it will end after 2 seasons.
Balanced text-image ratio ( those who prefers reading might not like it very much
IMO, the dialogues and scenes are purposely 'just enough' ( not elaborated ) as one storytelling tecnnique being used.
The plot and game develops following RPG 'formula', doing quests, adding companions, going places, maps, battles like that ( idk what is the correct term ). This game can serve as the foundation of a full-blown 3D RPG game made with Unreal Engine 5 or RED Engine for example.
At the moment, there are choices in the game but none are critical/impactful branching choice. It feels kinetic VN now but this will not always be the case later on. Not sure if it is a bug or not, but the MC can 'reject' Freja all the way and still able to have sex with her at night by knocking at her door.
Players are already introduced to 6 out of the 7 LIs ( 'poster' girls ) - Princess "Gwen" Guinevere, Jezzabell, Freja, Valery, Sophie and Sylvie, the last one is the 'Witch'.
This game has way too many fantasy elements that it doesn't need harem and/or incest sprinkled on top
Biggest drawback is that NOT ENOUGH contents
Overall, a really awesome production.

I think some fun and interesting discussions to be had relates to the inspiration the characters take from other popular media. I'll eventually get around to making some kind of comparison graphic, but I figured that as characters are introduced it could help illustrate their personalities by referencing other well known characters.
In the mean time, Freja feels very reminiscent of Cerys an Craite (Witcher 3) with her obvious viking roots and self confidence. The discussion she shares as well about how her father disapproved of her training shows a similar level of stubbornness in wanting to become a respected warrior rather than being seen as feeble.
Note: now I'm wondering if Freja has a thickheaded brother that likes to brawl.

I greatly enjoyed the update.
Joubei has done a fantastic job responding to everyone's questions and explaining what he is planning and with a great attitude. I find that really refreshing. He knows what he wants to do and how we are going to get there so he can be clear and we don't have to worry about unwanted surprises. He also listens to feedback so that he can improve his work.
The focus of the game is the story and all the sexually interactions and romances are entirely optional. Tags are pretty much vanilla which is fine in my book as I find more fulfillment in romance, relationship development and dialog during sex than straight up porn scenes. So far the sexual interactions have been nice and renders amazing. The Li's are all beautiful and we have the opportunity to take them all for a test drive, so to speak, before we have to settle on just one.
There have been a lot of questions about whether there is going to be a harem and the answer so far has been inconclusive as Joubei had not decided to implement one and may or may not see a viable path to that happening but hasn't ruled it out completely. I am very happy that he isn't going to turn all the Li's bi-sexual to do that. The elves are the exception and it sounds like getting involved with them creates an automatic throuple. Knowing that upfront makes it easier to decide to get involved with them or not. Perhaps there is a possibility of a harem, not a polyamory, with a throuple embedded in it or excluded if we so choose.
As for the question about incest. It only involves one Li and while it won't have a huge impact on the game I am really hoping for a patch to make that come to pass. It just so happens that is one of my kinks.
The story is just beginning to unfold and it looks interesting. The one thing that concerns me is the pacing. Everything so far has moved at lightning speed and I don't know if that is because Joubei is just trying to get all the main Li's introduced and in place quickly or because it's always going to be like that. We will know soon enough. I hope it slows down a bit but not too much.
He has setup a stable and easy to understand and use interface that looks like it will serve his purposes well. The only thing that troubled me at all was when I played some of the animated scenes I couldn't just click to advance them, I had to wait a certain amount of time for them to complete first. This is really minor and just a personal anoyance, not a major flaw. Once I figured it out I just had to learn to be patient.
Joubei seems to be talented and to have done the preliminary work to get off to a good start. The writing is good, the characters are already developed and have been pleasant, the story has been smooth and consistent and the renders are excellent. I am going to sub to him today to show that I appreciate his work and to encourage him to continue.

Not a lot more I can say that others haven't already elaborated on. Interesting story and a few good mysteries that keeps the player intrigued. I like the characters, and appreciate the sex is organic to the story. Freja is a fav and I look forward to her developing along with the story. Only gripe is that the 'horny' option is at times posed as outside/'otherworldly' corruption. No biggie. Happy to support on itch.io. Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to say that your info in the edit is really helpful here so thank you, wanted to try this game but kept reading about this rape shit which i very much abhor and then i saw this post, now i can put this on watchlist.Eh, started out pretty good. Some nice drama with the siege and such. Was pretty interesting. Usually not into medieval fantasy stuff, but wanted to give this a shot still.
But you lost me at the rape scene. I usually don't mind the rape stuff as long as it is avoidable, cause I just avoid it. But forcing rape on the MC was just a big no for me. No matter what state of mind he was in, that should be avoidable regardless. There's other ways to calm someone down (like a quick slap to the face and a firm "LISTEN!" to get them to reality) without resorting to shackling him and proceeding to rape him.
I couldn't continue after that, so no idea where it goes from there. But it was interesting up to that point at least, just not a big fan of forced rape on the MC (or forced sex in general). Just a personal pet peeve of mine is all. I'm sure others don't mind it though.

EDIT: The rape stuff was changed in a later update, so now you can choose to avoid it (it doesn't happen) if you want. Just thought I'd add this edit to clarify.
Dev actually did something here by putting the option in the game, very few do so i'm grateful for that too and the dev of course.
Actually the Dark Voice is related to another entity in the story, it will be revealed later on, its not your inner voice hehe.

Thank you to those who have been writing great reviews and positive comments of late. 4.1 stars is getting CLOSER to what this VN deserves. I feel it is very important to give positive feedback especially since detractors seem to rejoice in their avarice. Erotic tales that are well written and enjoyable stories are all too rare and this one is a gem.

is it just me or is the game incredibly laggy. it takes 1 or 2 seconds to do transitions from each line. its pretty much unplayable as it is.
That's the first time I've heard of something like this, can you give me more info about your machine?
or if you have anything running in the background?
This is very odd.
I'm testing it on PC and Mac, on several levels of GPUs. High RTX3090Ti, medium RTX1080, and low laptop integrated card - and works fine on all of them.

Integrated graphics on an Intel 10gen i5. Not the most powerful I know, but other renpy games seem to run fine. Might be an issue on my end if your not seeing any problems in testing
Images are 1080p HD, nothing fancy with the code, no idea why it would do it.
