I think it's because of the taboo element, but in the surface it's not that extreme since in the end it consists of two consenting adults horny with it other having sex, but with the related element in it, and it's not something extreme as other taboo fetishes like bestiality, rape, etc (mind control is another genre that is quite popular, which is basically rape)

Belle I was wondering: do you have plans for characters with other races? Like dwarves, elves, giants (you already answered this one I think, but I forgot), orcs, different kind of elementals, or hell maybe even spirits, monsters or weird stuff like that?
This isn't your typical fantasy setting, so don't expect any dwarves, orcs, goblins, etc. Elves are here, of a sort. You've already seen them. Monsters do exist in the setting, but they are rare and are unlikely to be shown on screen. You'll hear about one such type of monster in version 0.9, but as I said, don't expect to see it.
I generally find that unless different races can offer something truly unique to a story, I'd rather not use them. Too many fantasy authors use a variety of races to cover up the fact that their settings and stories are paper-thin. It's the humanity at the heart of a tale that provides for good storytelling, in my opinion.

It is true that often fantasy stories tend to focus a little too much on the customs of different races now that I think about it, expecially considering that they are similar in all fantasy settings. I have to disagree that humanity (or the main race of focus of that story) is the heart of a tale though, as there are some very good stories that focus on different races, often on the union of them, even though the "overcome our differences" bit is also kind of overplayed at this point.

The Belgariad is a five-book fantasy epic written by David Eddings even though the series uses very little in the way of races other than human, and very few monsters it is still a great epic. The author does this through character development and good plots, kind of like Belle is doing.
If you haven't read it, the series is worth reading if you like fantasy adventure stories.
That being said hot elf girls and sexy promiscuous pixies are always good.

thing with futa is not even because of the taboo element, I don't think it's taboo at all, not anymore, is just because people that like it like dicks, but probably also like the female body, so it would be a "better of both worlds" for bissexual people

but I don't think that's really the case, just that people that like futa consume it a lot since you probably can't really a lot of good material with actual porn, so it creates a higher demand in the adult game and adult comic market
not to mention that it would be number one fetish to people like that, so they request it a lot from creators, where straight content is all over the place

Not quite. I myself like futa content but on the other hand am as straight as it gets (aside from that). Remember - being bisexual is being attracted to men (as well as women), which I never found even closely appealing, while the reason I personally like futa is, either because when playing as a female character (since some games don't have a male character option) I find it easier to play from the futa perspective and on the other hand, because futas have one major sensual organ to tease more.
As for the incest, I never could understand why it's so popular either but to each their own, I suppose.

True, though I suppose my second reason covers that. I don't prefer futa over women though, I just like to have them as well as normal women. To spice things up a bit.
P.S.: Now that I think about it, it may have something to do with domination as well... Futas are usually portraited as dominant and there are very few things that are hotter to me than dominating the dominant... :biggrin:
