well howabout check walkthrough and search who gives charisma and then talk to them and see if you get that point.
no1 has bothered to update it but copy pc version's \game folder to mac version's game folder and play.

library book, nell, primrose, evelyn, and samara. you can friendzone nell and primrose to get theirs; for samara you have to go all the way with her. i dunno how evelyn's works if you don't romance her.

endgame started way before mc needed to choose between siblings (princess and QUEEN) and others.

The distance between the start of the endgame to getting the two princesses ending is too large and involves a lot of choices along the way. The endgame is more like ACT 3 of the game than just an epilogue.
Strictly speaking, the endgame actually encompasses both the climax to Act 2 (your first confrontation with Selena) and the entirety of Act 3.
If you want to break it down, the game is structured like this:
Act 1: Everything up until the moment you are given free rein to explore the game after the tutorial.
Act 2: Everything leading up to the first confrontation with Selena.
Act 3: The finale.
Yeah, Act 2 is much, much bigger than the other two, but that's not unusual in video games.

If you have an earlier Mac version, just download the newest Windows version and replace the game folder inside the Mac app with the windows one. Done.
what is meant by 'replace'?
how can that be done? would really appreciate some advice on this

dl pc version, extract it and if you have existing mc installation then copy pc version's *game*\game folder to mac's *game*\ folder and allow files to be replaced and play.

A Mac app is in fact a folder masquerading as a file. To see its content, right click on it and choose Show package contents. Then navigate to Contents/Resouces/autorun. There you'll find the game folder. Replace this folder in its entirety with the windows game folder.
