I wouldn't call it treatment. Sex Addicts Anonymous is a twelve step program that is much like Alcoholics Anonymous. They have a big green book that serves the same purpose as the big book does in AA. Unfortunately, because of our warped society's stigma concerning sexuality, there are no face-to-face meetings close to me even though I live in a suburb of Chicago where there are six million people.
So I began to explore Zoom meetings and finally settled upon one that is based on a face-to-face meeting in a little town on the Virginia Atlantic coastline. I found a sponsor who was in the Navy for 20 years and every Saturday 20-some of us gather in the Zoom meeting room and share what happened to us and how we are getting past our various compulsive sexual behaviors. It's a place of healing because nobody can understand sex addiction like another sex addict. We even have women in our meeting.
Although I went through all twelve steps in AA, in SAA I start with step one: I am powerless over my sex addiction and my life has become unmanageable. I am also exploring the concept of powerlessness in a discord group. We live in a society that tells us that admitting powerlessness is a weakness, but I'm here to tell you that on the spiritual level, it is very empowering. I'm on day 108 without sexual compulsion and resorting to inner circle behavior (real porn and fantasizing about "real" females).
So to answer your question, yes, this program is providing guidance as to how LLD will proceed.

I see that this game has been on hold for a year now, are there plans to continue this very nice game or do we say thank you and goodbye?

I too got myself into a bit of trouble with real-life porn and since then, I have found just as much pleasure, without the guilt, with these adult VN's. I can get my porn fix through art, and I love it. I love the art that is produced in games such as yours and the storylines can be quite entertaining and fun and even funny. My greatest fantasies include incest and so many more. This is all pure fantasy to me as I have never ever touched my daughters, can't even think of it. But, in my mind, I fantasized about imaginary daughters. Weird huh? My youngest daughter who is a phycologist would probably love to talk to you. She loves to pick my brain apart, I constantly marvel at her knowledge and insight.

no, i'll agree that AVN's etc are the only way to go, no std's, no actual abuse of people, and certainly no amateur porn(the worst), none of the things you encounter from real life situations.

Is that the take on my declarations of attending SAA meetings?! Well, rest assured, the content of the game will not change at all. Totally, totally agree. Messing with real minds in the real world can be quite damaging and do a lifetime of harm. Most people deal with these issues in different ways, but, a damaged mind, can you really repair it? Personally, I say NO, there will always be some sort of lingering effects. But, I am just a plain, very old dude, I leave that question to those with much bigger brains than I have. I suspect that this world is full of more damaged people than we will ever know, because, most people have learned to shield that part of their brain/memories and just deal with life the best way that they can. Imagine, what kind of world we'd all be living in if most people were actually undamaged. I think, what a wonderful world it would be......

Yes, the world does seem to be going crazy right now, but I've learned I only need to tend the part of the garden I can touch. Lately I've been focusing on my recovery and my relationship with my wife. We began our relationship 26 years ago very highly damaged people. We're much better now, thanks to our higher power, but still have a long way to go.
I'm thinking your initial post is a signal that it's time for me to get back into creativity mode and get this VN rolling again.

Your number 1 priority is your well-being, mental well-being. If you and your wife are in recovery that is wonderful, you both can aid and assist one another. I live alone now, due to my mishaps and my youngest daughter (the psychologist) is the only one who has stuck by me. She knows that I am solely working on my issues and have made major changes, like turning to VN's instead of real porn. Matter of fact, it was she who practically dragged me to the hospital, when I was fed up with my liver problems and was ready to hang it up. She got me there and a liver became available, my doctor secured it for me and my life was saved. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for my Little One. I am in excellent physical health today.
If and when you make a comeback, make sure you involve your wife in your decision-making and hopefully work on it together. We pervs will always be here, anxiously awaiting your return, if that is your decision. God Bless.

This does seem where's he's at right now. I'm finding it to be a fascinating journey as I watch his comic strip continue to unfold. I am choosing to withhold judgement and to just observe his artistic expression.
My daughter is marrying a transgender person and I am very happy for her. My wife is deep into her antivax journey and we are working that out together. I am coming to know that none of this really matters.
