Sorry if the question was already asked or the information given, I am not following all the time the forum, but noticing most the characters seems to be the same from LoM (well, as look), and it seems good , I was wondering, it is also possible to download it separately for Patreon supporters ? Or is going to be only on Steam ?
I am asking because I have different computers in different places plus a laptop, and I like to be able to play my games in all, so, esepecially for some type of games ;-), rather than installing, I run them from an external disk.
By the way, it is a false impression, or did Emily get a bit taller (and with something a bit bigger ;-)) in Morning Star ?

It'll be available here, similar to Love of Magic; I'm rolling it out in stages; first steam beta keys to Patreons, then a public build, then Act II on Beta, then public launch, then Early Access.

A lot of the characters got minor touch-ups; Katie,MC and Emily lost their fae features, and Emily's eyes changed slightly to a lighter blue. MC also lost his cat eyes. Snowdrop got a little bustier and a lot larger.

The reason for the (perhaps foolish) idea of using the same characters is grounded in the discussions of souls and the idea of the immortal champion, a hero (or heroes) destined to be reincarnated to fight the good fight again and again. In terms of effort it saves me very little; the only pixels that are the same from one game to the other exist as wallpapers and collectibles.

Character wise, some of the major ones are coming along (MC, Emily, Katie, Molly, Bella, Snowdrop and Chloe). The rest of the characters are new, including Lin, who started as a random extra, and wrote herself into my heart.

I love that we see our beloved characters with different development!
And aye, Snowdrop is ... well.. ADORABLE!

In general I recommend playing on steam, since that auto updates and handles steam saves for you: much easier, especially if you are playing on different pcs.

But I my point is exactly that I have no intention of installing that kind of "cloud clients" on all my computers and get those companies the possibility to snoop all around, and to need an active Internet connetion to play a game alone on my computer (if I was playing a battle.net cooperative or a Warcraft online, would be different).
There are already too many snooping around (starting with Microsoft itself :-D) and too many programs that do not really need an Internet connection, but then use/require it anway.
Plus, this way I don't occupy space on n times on all the hard disks, I just plug in the external disk, and go (yep, I know I also need to copy the save files if I want continuinity in playing) - it is a few gigas, but multiplied by x, it does make space.
But I understand is a matter of points of view, there are many people who put even their sexy video or photos on the Internet (well, lots of people in Hollywood who then give the password to anybody asking, apparently ), and I use myself a cloud storage for other stuff.

Yeah, I get that

There'll be a non-steam version (it'll save similarly to Love of Magic, in c:\users\[username]\appdata\local low\droid productions), so that part will be similar.

I'll hopefully test that part out on Friday or so; there are some differences between Steam and non-steam builds (linking in the API causes buttons to show up, etc) so having it tested before I push it wider helps.

a question for the pokergame.....
i only use raw damage stones and ad low slots 2 Rage stones... is there any use to take others? many creatures have imunities, so what speaks for gems other than pure damage?

maby later some shielding is usefull but i always have Dwayn with me so regenerate and heal is always active!?

Pure damage benefits from being simple and universal. There's nobody immune to it.
It's also relatively underpowered.
Other (early) metas;pure fire,poison/lightning, rage/cluster (with a shielding companion).

Once you get the rage/cluster mix, Emily/Molly/Bella becomes unbeatable on the paths.

Much later in the game, other metas start to shine

I always found it odd that ice seems to do little damage, especially since MC is the Winter King.

I know this has been a recurring request.

I'll see how much pain and suffering I'm about to encounter, but at least this little cheat version is significantly less destructive than a full script rewrite.
