Yeah... I think it took me 3 or 4 days of cursing Droid to the cold lands before I continued.I was stuck at the end of Book 2 and could not get myself to continue

YES!! MC at the start of book 3 is freaking amazing! Though the meeting with Bella is probably a bit much for poor alt-Emily at that point.I do think MC at the first days of Book 3 is my favorite MC. He's not *evil* but there's a definite "falling down" feel to him.
been there too many times that i care to admit... and yes its been more then once!I do think MC at the first days of Book 3 is my favorite MC. He's not *evil* but there's a definite "falling down" feel to him.
Just wanted to say thanks to the creator of this game, thoroughly enjoyed it. Shoutout my hometown and place of birth being mentioned which is super rare!! Really compelling story, resonated with the MC a lot more than I thought. Got teary at times, I'm not afraid to say. Great game, one of my most enjoyed adult ones and I've played way too many. Adding the games on the PC made me laugh way more than I care to admit, good scene choices. peace
NG+ for book 2 and 3 are coming but will take some time.I'm currently playing through the game a second time, did Book 1 NG+ and now back into regular book 2. I love this game a lot, idk if Book 2 and 3 will get NG+ but I hope they do. There is some weird talk in NG+ about Those who were lost being returned and what was promised shall be given. No idea what that means to be honest...book 2 and 3 would need massive reworks if the plan is to undo the deaths of Keith, Bella, Kublir, Morris, and Jelsa...probably too much to hope for and I don't want to get high on hopium for an improved ending to book 3 either. As for what was promised being given...that sounds terrible as I believe that was a promise from the outsiders that the world would end in fire and ice...we can really wo without that happening. But something big is boiling over with Hel and her pets.
I will not complain about time as that means better quality. And I am incredibly excited for NG+ Book 2 and 3 as well.NG+ for book 2 and 3 are coming but will take some time.
As for those that return 1 has already been done.

NG+ for book 2 is in the workings and I can't wait till it comes out.
Yupp, once I'm done with Morningstar (in a month's time, hopefully) I'll return to Book 2 NG+ and finish that up, before doing the full move into the next project.I'm currently playing through the game a second time, did Book 1 NG+ and now back into regular book 2. Easy. You did.How do I know I missed a scene when we don't have a gallery for book 2 and 3?
Use the walkthrough on the wiki and you will see all of them. How do I know I missed a scene when we don't have a gallery for book 2 and 3?
No, this is not a fair reply. I am now playing through the game a second time but this time with the wiki guide and I am seeing all sorts of stuff I didn't the first time...especially in book 2 because building the King's Dragon rooms in the wrong order can screw you up. I just now saw for the first time the Dojo scene where you meet Jelsa and Val's Onsen conversation and who knows what else I'll find I've missed by the time my 2nd playthrough is over. But yeah, wiki guides for books 2 and 3 are really good.Easy. You did.
My first 4 playthroughs I did not use the guides, I use the wiki walkthrough for the other 20+ playthroughs. No, this is not a fair reply. Incredible dedication. I love this game and while I don't know that I've got 20 playthroughs or 1000 hours for it in me, I think I'll most likely go at least 5+ playthroughs. Very fascinated with the potential of NG+ to fix/expand on certain things for sure.My first 4 playthroughs I did not use the guides, I use the wiki walkthrough for the other 20+ playthroughs.
600 hours for Steam version of the game and I have no idea how many hours I played before I bought the game on Steam.
I am going to guess that its over 1000 hours of play for the version on here and Steam.
Yes you could say I love this game and can't wait for book 2 and 3 to go NG+, then I will most likely have another 1000 hours of play.
At one time I had more than 12 each of the high level gems and sold all dupes I was not using for well over 10 millions coins.
If you do it right you can use I think 5 each of the high level gems since you keep them for NG+ games.Incredible dedication. When I went from the end of NG+ Book 1 to regular Book 2 my save lost all of the higher level gems sadly(the ones that have smaller sprites that are most powerful)...those were the ones I really wished to stack. But alas it looks like I'll have to wait until NG+ for books 2 and 3 is out before that is a reality. But it's fine, I'm not overly worried about combat(except the Hel fight, which I could only win by dropping difficulty to casual for it, even with crazy high shields I could not survive the first hit for X to get barrier rolling). If you do it right you can use I think 5 each of the high level gems since you keep them for NG+ games.
I just wish that the power level would go up by 1 for each NG+ game you play so you can start with better gems in the lower level slots.
The opening build of Ng+ is up on steam (ngplus branch) with some new animations, all the enemies and gems, and the various improvements. Shields don't matter to Hel. She sacrifices a little of her health for a lot of yours. There is no defense against it. Barrier doesn't work against her attack either. Think of a way to do massive damage and at the same time keep her from attacking...When I went from the end of NG+ Book 1 to regular Book 2 my save lost all of the higher level gems sadly(the ones that have smaller sprites that are most powerful)...those were the ones I really wished to stack. Might have to dig up my steam account I haven't used in years. This game is worth the money for sure.
