I just finished the trilogy and it was one of those endings where you just sit back in your chair and pause for a minute because knowing there isn't any more just makes you feel a little empty inside. I really enjoyed the game. I like how the characters are written, even if the MC did come across overly aggressive at times, despite it being a written character flaw.
If I had one complaint, it was I wanted to just play the game. The reason why I say this, is that there is so much content condensed into a fixed timeframe, without a guide it is very easy to miss conversations and lore dumps. You pretty much NEED to follow the wiki guide to catch everything. I wish the devs expanded on the ! Icon, or something similar from book 3 because it is so easy to accidentally skip content/lore dumps and world building, especially if the characters were hanging out in their default locations, or you had to visit a place a certain amount of times to trigger an event. Heck, my first play through of book 2 I missed the entire Draco storyline, and ran out of cash to build my dining room before the ending happened because I didn't know how to properly farm money on the paths.
I see the devs read the forum, so I want to end this on a positive note. I loved Emily and the Chosen, and I developed a soft spot especially for Bella well before the end of Book 1, to which I can playfully say,
I look forward to trying Morningstar, soon.
