The fuck did I just play?

I had this confused boner the whole time. Couldn't decide if I was reading some crazy porn version of The Dresden Files, playing a really fucking addicting poker card rpg, or teleported into some weird niche fetish for buff petite elf girls with an annoying skank who got addicted to anal and some cat landlady that didn't put out nearly as much as I would have liked.

All jokes aside props on you. Story was amazing, really well written, and very unique. I really don't know what else to say, just thank you. And sorry for any other future games you might want to make because I don't know how they would ever hold up to this, and it's not even finished.

I'm glad, that your VN is readable. Fuck grammar rules - most readers aren't native speakers (me included - or is it "myself included"? Dunno, my last english lesson was about 20 years ago...) and don't even know most of these rules.
I may also add, that I often read/played VNs from "native" american developers, that often confuse "there", "they're" and "their" and so on... So I think that your writing style is near professional level - even if there/they're/their should be a spelling error each 10000 words

I'm leaving this as a historical artifact; I ended up re-rendering it at double resolution, fixing that weird 'jerk' of her elbow, and rescaling the animation. It'll hopefully be done tomorrow :) I do like the general vibe of it... very Lord Captain Maclachlan

New Version:

So. What changed? A bunch of little things.

DAZ:
- Animation was left to run over-night. Higher iteration counts and higher base resolution
- Removed that jerk in the elbow that was bugging me
- Bumped up the emissive lighting of the fireball, and removed the actual non-animating fire prop

After Effects:
- Redid the tracking of the fireball, reduced the size (since it didn't need to cover up the original fire)
- Added a second particle system for the sparks

Photoshop:
The frame was actually off by a couple of pixels, fixed that.

Animation is hard :(

Can you zip up the whole savegame folder and send it over, I'll have a look. (it'll have the log file as well as the savegames, so grab the whole folder)

I kind of feel bad for playing the game on mute now. Then again, Bristol trip hop seemed appropriate. Massive Attack and Portishead.

I honestly do for a lot of porn games as well. For this I actually spent a fair amount of time finding and triggering audio. I think it works quite well in act III and IV end, for example. If you played it on mute before, might be worthwhile seeing how the presence of music changes the emotional queues at the end of Act IV.

I especially liked the Makai Symphony song you used for the Lich fight. Also the one when Emily's power is revealed. But the audio cues when the mood goes somber is probably the best way music is used.

Really hate to keep asking because you've been super helpful, but any luck in getting the portal open for me?

That's weird. I was able to load your game (night time), go down and click on the portal, then enter Elsewhere.

I'm fixing up the final bugs for the next public release now; try that out once I'm done, and let me know if it works for you.

Droid Productions A question, if I may ask? I'l put it in a spoiler so I don't tip off those who haven't played yet, and if you do answer please put it in a spoiler for the same reason? Thank you in advance.

And I am absolutely looking forward to the next chapter in the story. Damn fine job!

Thank you, I thought that was the case. And again, damned fine job you've done on this game. It's the first Unity engine game I've played that didn't drive me batty with bugs, lol. I only hit one, the very first time I played the poker game. Easy to restart from that point, and didn't have any more errors in the whole play-through.
