The longer one is that the Beta is currently on day 104 / 115. I've got another 5 big events to do, and a couple of smaller ones. I'd love to finish it by the end of the month, but it depends on a lot of things going the way they're supposed to. In the end I'd rather finish this book in style than rush it.

ngl i love this and its one of my favorites but im here the elf girl the cat lady and the story, never really used this game for the jerk. love the story and love emilys art but i wish there were more with the cat chick, i forget her name, the sorceress
Chloe. She gets more action in the beta so far. Less sex, but more story/background.
I never comment I'm more of a Lurker but I just wanna say this is prolly my fave game on this site. I have even got my fiance into playing it purely because the story and world building is on par with that of a AAA game.

it's interestingly enough a very common feedback from people here or on discord. Seems this is the gateway drug of choice for getting your gf into porn games, since a lot of girls get into the romance story. It kind of makes me think I should gate the early 'porn' a little better (Chloe's handjob for example), and let it take it a little time for anyone that *doesn't* want early sex to see anything non PG.

It is, but it's quite easy to stagger into. That, and the non-optional "landlady and flatmate" intro chunk are among the last of the initial harder porn origins of the game. I wouldn't want to change things like the dates with Emily, I think those are calibrated quite well for the game it grew into, but I might make the Chloe handjob something you have to work a little to get.

Maybe gate it bit harder or warn a bit more, but overall I would say you have already got the adult game instead of porn game balance pretty right. Though we would not mind a few more sex scenes, nobody is really clamoring for it.

Chloe won't change, much like a cat she'll do what she feels like doing. But it's reasonably easy to extend the "are you going to get a handjob" sequence while keeping the playful nature. The one hard porn bit early on I don't think you can do much about as its integral to the story is tentacles !
I agree with wanting the final version to be high quality . You might want to consider releasing an early version here so that people can do some testing that do not have access to Discord . On the subject of testing , people just naturally do things that the programmer has not thought of . Its handy if they can take a note and report it .
Having worked with no QA the last ten years its not good for the nerves .

You take as much time as you need, good sir. This game is damn near perfect and I would hate for it to be rushed. I admit I check every day (sometimes more than once a day) to see if it's out yet, but I'd much rather it be awesome than rushed. When you take your time, everything runs smoothly, it flows like a calm river, where everything is in its place.
When you are forced to rush it, like with chapter 4s end I am guessing, there are several inconsistencies that show up, glitches in the matrix where things end up choppy and broken.
This is my favorite story on here for several reasons and my favorite developer as a result.
So please dot the 'I's and cross the 'T's so we can get something equally as fantastic as the previous chapters.
But hey...that's just my opinion.
