And with 0.0.24c I've got one more 'timeline' event to go before the act finale, and the build counter ticking over to 0.1.0.

It doesn't mean the game will be done today, but hopefully it'll be playable from beginning to end either this weekend or next week. After that, I've got some additional side-events (more things to spend your sandbox time on), I've got one more Home for the Chosen event (Akane's Teahouse), and some tech-tasks (Kingdom Event basic framework, at least, and improving R&D).

But at least the end is now in sight.

I really like this game, one of my favourite so far, but I have an issue with an android version. The further progress goes the more lags occures. Certain actions takes half a minute to execute and game becomes borderline unplayable. After I finished current version, I deleted all saves and started from the beginning, and everything became smooth again. But after a couple of in-game months my phone again periodically freezes completely, I have to reboot it. Just saving the game is a pain. Maybe there is some common solution I'm unaware of? Or it's just time to buy a new phone?

I think it means it's capping out the RAM in your phone. I remember Droid having issues before with keeping the game inside several types of phone and the memory they have memory.

Yeah, it sounds like a memory leak somewhere. You shouldn't need to reboot the computer or flush the savegames, just shut down the app fully and re-open it. The savegames have no impact on memory at all.

Nope, nothing. The whole thing was terribly ommunicated. We also heard nothing when the removed access in the first time. At least for a while you could sell if you claimed a Usk rating, but those should really only be used on steam if you paid the 2k euro assessment fee (on xb and android store its free, but that rating can expressly not be transferred to another store). And nobody's certain what valve will do to anyone falsely claiming a USK rating later... Anything from ignoring it to suspending the account and banning you from steam seems likely.

Its all a bit of a mess, and immensely frustrating because Germany was the second biggest steam market after the US for me.

What is a USK rating?

It's not really a ratings problem; every adult game on steam is hit by this.

Claiming a USK rating (which costs 2K Euro, because it's meant for retail distribution) will fix it; but obviously you don't have one of those Mostly it just means Steam's shut Germany out of the adult market... and that does solve it.

Yes, I read up on the issue.
Many German laws are sadly still locked in the "real world". Like how they asked for a TV license from Twitch streamers with a certain range two years ago - which I'm told isn't cheap, either. Caused some raised Eyebrows.
I can see how Steam doesn't want to introduce proper age verification, as that could cost them a lot and potentially reduce their profits, but at the same time, a lot of small time developers (like, say, 1-3 person teams developing for a still somewhat niche market) can't really afford an advance payment of 2k € to maybe make a profit off that somewhere down the line.
So I do hope that German law will be updated at some point - it's just not a really popular topic, "we want free access to porn online", so the issue needs to simmer and grow for a bit. Good things usually only happen by accident.
But hey, there was that case where Greece supposedly banned video games a few years back, when they just tried to regulate gambling.
It is a pity, though - As if Steam would distribute things they had any suspicion would be actively banned in a country. Ironically, you could still sell a physical copy of the game in Germany.

Yeah, it's a mess. You can still buy it on itch.io, which gets you a free Steam Key (those still work, despite the storefront not working). I also give out free keys to all patreons who wants one, and any .de domains get their free key the moment I say "hi", because I'm honestly pissed off by this

Quick question: I am lucky to have this downloaded into my steam library but am failing to be able to update it for reasons I cannot currently remember, so I am wondering how to do that.
I have installed a fresh version of Windows 10 pro on a 2 TB Samsung NVMe drive, and have failed miserably at cloning my game SSD to get the files and saves off of it, meaning I lost everything since I started on here, well the files are still on that drive, but it's just going to be collecting dust, SO I get to start every single game and VN I have pulled off of here fresh with the exception of the top game on my list here that I was, fortunately, able to download on Steam...yaaay.

current Steam version is the same as in OP, so just downloading it works. Act VII beta can be enabled in Steam game properties
