First of all, I can't stress this enough, but MW is NEVER going to be abandoned.

Being a game dev is my lifelong dream. I've got the opportunity to set foot in a more welcoming territory/genre and make a story I'm invested in and deeply in love with.

This is wonderful news. I've been feeling kind of low seeing lots of my favorite story-heavy games end up getting abandoned one after another, and its a happy change to hear that Mad World isn't one of them. I didn't know that F95 had a render farm, but its great that the site is giving back to the community to help games get developed.

I understand how it can get frustrating as a dev to not have something concrete to say, but honestly it is a lot better to just say anything, even a sentence or two like "Hey all, I am still here. Converting lighting to work with the new Daz is taking longer than I thought, but I am plugging away at it. I'll have more info later." goes a long way to let your fans know that things are moving along.

Nobody expects devs to be a machine, especially small independent devs like yourself, who don't exactly have a whole team working with you, so don't worry if the development is slower than you wish. All us true fans will be here, and we will support you when we can. Mad World is really something special, and I for one am looking forward to seeing the story progress, and some of the mysteries solved. Such as what is going on with Robbie and her background? There seems more than meets the eye, as with most things in your game.

Keep up the great work, at whatever schedule works for you.

I know this is a porn game pirate website but we do care... I mean not that most of us have any valid monetary interest in the game but as freeloaders we do want this game to continue and when we don't hear from developers on a regular basis we get to feeling insecure about the games we like.

I assumed Capella was still working on Mad World in some capacity based off their Discord posting, but it's really good to get confirmation. This VN is deserving of more support/attention, and I hope it finds greater success going forward.

Milfy City didn't get abandoned tag for almost 2 years. If the developer reports that the game is still continue, they should remove the tag.

Omg YESSSS!!! I just checked back for an update and I was bummed as hell when I saw the abandoned tag.. But damn I'm so relieved that the dev is still working on it.

As someone who mostly looks for story driven games, I am SO damn excited to see it! I literally replayed the current version like 4 or 5 times now when I get bored of other games lol.

Can't wait for the next update!

I feel the same. It's hard enough finding good games with good stories and characters who I actually like. Especially when it comes to games that involve supernatural and/or magic elements. So the fact that we managed to find a good one is amazing!

Glad to see Mad World is keeping up it's march. Story is damn good, even if the scale is... daunting to consider. I know as a consumer I'd rather a dev is able to keep going even if slowly then burn out trying to over-promise a release date. It's a flooded market at the moment, even if most of it's shite, the good ones should stick around while they can, you know?

Position dev is in kind of sucks,can't get.out updates regularly because.of poor hardware,hard time getting patrons to get better hardware because of inconsistent updates
