Otherwise I let Nicke know what I was up to at the end of the update... I reckon he snickered a bit. We joke quite a bit behind the scenes, you folks don't know half of it. The man has an outstanding sense of humor and we get along extremely well. Sometimes I think we both wonder when either of us is actually being serious tbh... it's a bit out of control in PM's... especially when he can't wait 48hrs before pushing a damn update live when it was supposed to be later this week if memory serves. It's all in fun though, as it very well should be.

I'm certain this is the case. The man isn't a cuck, his wife/son are simply cheating behind his back... and I admit it's a pretty shitty thing for a son to do to his "dad".

But at the end of the day it's just cartoon porn so no reason to over-analyze even though every thread on this site does exactly that. Every time I say "it's just cartoon porn" I get a facepalm or two but I could care less tbh, it is indeed cartoon porn and as a 'toon should be taken with a massive grain of salt going in. It's all fantasy and non-reality.

No arguments from me. It's definitely a shitty thing to do... especially since, as far as we know, he's been a good father to the MC. But playing as a shitty guy is fun for me .

My impression is that Charles encourages the MC to flirt with Beth because he wants them to get along and be friends, not because he wants them to become lovers. He's fine with the MC looking but would he be happy if he found out about everything they've been doing behind his back? Probably not. He had the perfect opportunity to give the MC his blessing to go after Beth when he told the MC about the side effects of his medication and how he never married Beth because he couldn't get her pregnant but he didn't do that.

If Beth and/or the MC believed that Charles would be OK with what's happening, there would be no need to sneak around or worry about him catching them. Hell, on the affection path, the MC literally thinks to himself that he's stealing Charles' girlfriend. It doesn't get much clearer than that.

I totally understand your points, and they are there, also there is if you want your son to get along with your "partner" is encouragig him to flirt with her the right aproach ? at least it doesn't seem to logic for me, and due to all the side effects of his meds, he feels guilty and to some point he (Charles) feels more a Daddy daughter love than a love to a woman, also he expresses that he want to give Beth the satisfaction to her urges and dreams, about children he won't risk having one with her because he feels that he oves his son.
MC feels conflicted a some point and feels some sort of guilt towards Charles, not in the same amount as Beth she is totally oblivious and seems more scared than MC.
it's a bit the story of this film with Sophia Loren, Barfoot Duchesse or so.
anyway, all this is starting to unravel.

Hmm, probably not. But Charles seems to believe that the best way to get on a woman on your side is to compliment and flirt with her. He wasn't angry when she complained to him about the MC spying on her, so he definitely gives the MC more leeway than most other men would around their wife/girlfriend.

He did mention something about their relationship being more "friendly" than romantic at this point and that he isn't sure how much longer he can hold onto her but she is still his girlfriend at this point and he hasn't given his explicit permission for the MC and Beth to start a sexual relationship, they did that behind his back. The MC is probably a bigger offender than Beth as he's always the one that initiates things but she doesn't exactly put up a lot of resistance when he comes on to her.

Honestly, considering how the relationship with Beth has played out so far, i would be a bit disappointed if Charles found out about what they've been doing and was immediately OK with it. At the very least, he should be angry over the betrayal of trust. No matter how you look at it, Beth is still cheating on him with his "son".

Also, i'm pretty sure his lack of children with Beth has nothing to do with the MC. He wanted to have children with her, but he simply wasn't able to get her pregnant. He's probably sterile or something.
