Technically and currently, yes; if you get the worst possible outcome and end up enemies with Archibald, he'll lock you out of his mansion, which is where Iris is. It's still possible to get Iris before completing the segment, but if you don't get her before completing it
and get the bad end, you won't be able to get to her.
Though I'm going to be adding a secondary way of recruiting her for that scenario for v0.23.
im currently stuck and i dont know where to go to continue. i have 3 main quest and one character quest in my task list.
main quest:
1- sins of my father, it says attend the cult meeting but i have no idea where to go exactly.
2- a long time coming, it says to go evidoka, but i thick it is bugged because i think i finished everything related to this quest.
3- regular poirot. investigate and destroy the order, i believe this is a quest meant to be as i finish other quest but im not sure.
character quest:
1- safari song. visit wilds flower grove, again i dont know where that is.
can anyone direct me where should i be going to continue with the quests. thank you.
For Sins of the Father - the cult meetings take place in Ambrose Theatre. It's the first building in Ambrose City.
For A Long Time Coming - that does sound bugged based on your description (it should be complete if Sins of the Father is active), but it's possible you hit the ending of it that leaves you and Archibald allies. If that's the case, you have to go to Evdokia's audience hall (go into The Gate and talk to the Servant in the booth) and talk to Archibald to get your trophy. If you can't get into Ambrose Theatre, that's probably why.
For Regular Poirot - it's
kinda done. I know I don't really explain it that well within the narrative, and no other objectives come up regarding it, but once you find out the cult isn't directly responsible for killing your parents, destroying the cult becomes an optional secondary objective, and the method to complete (or officially ignore) that optional secondary objective hasn't been put in the game yet.
For Safari Song - the grove is in the wilds between your Estate and Cumhaill.
There's a path behind some trees that'll lead you to an area where there's a bunch of butterflies and flowers. You just walk into it.
So where the hell is Kala? I found the items inside the wasted estates, got the Theurgic Axe and went around and back, but no dice. Moorgor is fully explored but it doesn't show as solved in the Task List too.
The first location she's in is the Detheridge Estate. There are little piles of rocks that denote the side entrances of the towers for their facings that can't show a door.
Might be more than that at play in v0.20.
In these saves there's sequence and plot breaking bugs preventing Master from getting all the Accord signatures AND prevent Ella's affection side-quest.
From an earlier file I was able to do everything expected by recalling the
but in that save there was nothing preventing me from meeting Farquhar and then going directly to sleep without investigating Roich, which is what happened leading to these saves:
Save info: No edits. I did play through some of the earlier bugs I reported concerning Assaaain and Cursewielder maids popping up way early.
file 31: If I investigate Roich at this point and THEN talk with Farquhar, Ella's side-quest will not trigger and I end up not being able to get the Accord signatures for the Roich couple (Middle Top row of Roich homes.) I can go upstairs to trigger the vault raid, with the same results, except Caitlainn(!) and Adhdre's granny, also... minor, but it's been established that Farquhar should innately know through his connection to his Estate that he's a few thousand Silcrow light... oddly coinciding precisely with my delay in talking to him... he doesn't even bring it up(?) in the 2nd meeting, but the text I can say after is written as if that's not unexpected. If I talk to Farquhad I end up with those same results, which you can see in file 32.
Hopefully these have already been reported.
Just now I transferred the saves to V 0,21 to check and at least SOME of the bugs persist.
Sure enough. If you get to Adhdre without going through Roich first, she skips the first half of the Accord progression for you regardless of how far along you are. That's
mostly fine if you've at least gone through and stepped inside all the buildings in Roich, but if you get to the point where you're collecting signatures and you've only ever been in the nursery, you end up "collecting a signature" every time you step into a house. That makes it possible to blow past the number of signatures you need, which is definitely a problem. That negatively affect's Ella's affection quest because the first steps check the same variable, so it'll bug out if it's higher than it's supposed to be.
Similar issues
had been reported before, but every time someone shared a save or got back to me, it really was as simple as a missed signature. I was (or they were) able to talk to all the NPCs to find the one that was missed and proceed as normal.
If I tried to maximize the bug, I was able to get that variable over 30, which made the NPCs behave as though I already had the Accord despite the Accord not being in my inventory and the variable being to high to be able to go back and get it from Caitlainn.
So, to fix the progression, Adhdre will now actually check where the variable is when you first meet her and have different dialogue depending on whether Caitlainn told you to ask her about the secret Hold entrance. That's the only progression inconsistency I could find, so that should fix the problem for both the Accord and Ella's first affection quest.
Which, as far as that goes, I didn't notice any issues with its progression as it relates to the variable, but I did notice it's checking for a quest step that never gets operated, which makes me wonder how I managed to complete it for my own playthrough. It was checking for the 4th step to be active, which shouldn't be active until you complete the third step, which is going into the abandoned home in Roich to activate the 4th step (which it obviously can't do because it never got operated) so that's also fixed to check the correct step and operate the next step now.
There is still
technically a way to skip Caitlainn telling you to talk to Adhdre, but that's only because the variable will have already reached the point it needs to for everything else to function normally, and there's no indication that you need to go to Adhdre at that point outside of Caitlainn telling you to do it. So that can just exist as a "you've probably done this before if you know to be here already" thing.
And Caitlainn has had her conditional checks updated for existing saves so if you ran into this, you can still get the trophy.
All these fixes won't be present until v0.23, but attached is a patch that'll at least update Caitlainn so you can get the trophy you earned if the problem is that you got the variable up to or over 28 while collecting signatures.
To apply it, rename it to remove the '.txt' extension (so it should be named Map491.json) and drop it into the 'data' folder. You'll know it's in the right place when you're prompted to overwrite. Overwrite the old file, and you can get your trophy.
Thanks a bunch to you and
lilhornycunt for your help figuring this out!
