I guess my philosophy is a little different. I like hidden things, hard to get things.why oh why would somebody just make some intricate design to ... hide the hard work put in and gate the juicy parts.
It give you some sense of accomplishment when you finally get to them.
Yeah, I honestly hate that lol. I like complicated games with a lot of complex mechanics.As a suggestion ... AAA game usually have recurring tips and tricks to help ease the transition and sometimes bells and whistles ... most just lower the threshold or just skip ahead to the next step...
I think it might be a combination of my own tastes in games and that most people around here are used to Visual Novels or polished AAA titles. Also I'm not a terrific game designer either so it does make some sense why there seems to be lack of interest in my game.
Plenty of people seem smart, but are actually stupid.Because seeing is believing and smarts only show when in conversation or proven against odds!
I think I get what you're saying though.
Some things I can improve upon, some thing I'm just going to take with me for future projects.
The design I have for a future game is less intricate.
