probably a lot said that already, but:
Why didnt he hire another narrow specialist in art, its a '"bit" different game now. (i roughly know about 2022' march artist change)
coz since part 3 i thought i was mistaken about changed graphics, and now its clearly not. (at least until he learn how to put light like in 0.1-2)
better if he had additional half year abandon tag, but kept the quality
and explain if you know if main otter has a half-year experience of Daz, how much had a previous artist?

Before starting, Otter had literally zero experience in Daz or any 3d software. I personally don't especially like the quality of new renders, either.

As for why he didn't hire another, I see two reasons:
1. Cost. The other guy was working for basically free. Currently, just animations are being outsourced, and even that isn't exactly cheap.
2. Control. Otter knows his speed/availability and can work with that. When working with other artists, you don't necessarily know for certain if deadlines will be reached or not.

Personally, I don't think the new render is that bad. Sure the lighting and such is not high quality like before 0.3 but it's 80% there. And it still looks better or on par with many other more popular games on this site.

*press play (one or two renders are enough , press end replay)to unlock at ingame gallery / you need the neccessary points to see the lewd stuff at the scenes

there are "dates" my mc didnt agreed to (2x chrysta ,gemma) or even know about
he´s playing that cardgame for some reason (at ch3), even if the choice was made NOT to
let me guess - he´s going to "agree" to the watersportsclub(gemma) later too
without any explanation why ...
edit : well i found the text for it(chrysta) - you get the hint ONLY when you challenge her at the wharf or go to her party at all
even when not on her path or attending the party at all, or with the choice made to not accept the challenge , where you get
the "invitation" - the game acts like we made it at ch3
(double checked)
so much to choices made ...

edit 2 :
i really thought they (chrysta ,gemma)where out of the picture after the choices (not party attend and leaving the wharf scene with gemma cleaning the boat)

gemma for example :
no intention to get close to her or to knowing what her problem with "Nusk" is
still "forced" to listen to this on a "date" about the watersportsclub* and the mc`s "thoughts" meh hot blah , that ass bleh - with 0 (or negative)points on her
(*there was not one hint the mc has any interrest at all before - if you ignore gemma)

I've said it a lot, brother. 99% of these games here give an illusion of choice. Some devs know how to hide that illusion better. A dev says there's multiple endings, but, there's really only one and the multiple only means who you end it with.

Yeah. Long time ago I thought it could be something interesting, very close to my heart. Heck, I loved climbing too, I also have fuckedup left leg, over 400 physiotherapy sessions.
And... well. Writing is still too cringe. And "choices". Well. You have to go straight with devs path or you will get nothing. Or developers will decide for you and will constantly throw at you girls you are not interested in. Anyway, thanks for the efforts but I'm also out.

I know brother I know but if you're going to force the MC to do something make it clear that he's doing it against his will and he really doesn't want to

or if you tell someone he's not interested in them in a romantic way

and he's forced to interact with them for story reasons

make it clear that he's still not interested in them in a romantic way

so it does not invalidate the previous choices and they still matter
