We all got to be honest, its 8th months for some people others 7th counting the xmas special, but so much wait and propably the update wont be that good (i hope im wrong), just for the time waiting which if i remember its double the time that is use to be i think i would take max 3 to 4 months and probably the update will be the same size has the others or smaller. Im trying to keep positive and i hope im wrong but what i sayed might happen.

I'm going to guess that your desktop is a potato or a root tuber near potato level. If this is the case, just wait. It will run as Ren'Py doesn't have huge requirements, but the images may take a long time to load.

If your system hardware is less than 5 years from release date (not purchase) you are probably facing an issue of too many processes running in the background. Check that and close anything not really needed.

Beyond that, check to see if there was a any obvious errors listed in the log file. Posting that file may allow someone more familiar with Ren'Py to troubleshoot easier.

The game it's not abandoned
The dev take a break and started to work on the game again recently, the update should be out in august.

Using more than one word aka a complete sentence would be a polite way asking for something (which also has been discussed and answered on dozens of pages before). So in consequence writing not a single word and read some pages before you post would be the best

He earns about 50K dollars a month. And only an idiot would give up such a thing. He can even hire someone to do all the work for him. He can even hire a team.

I think it will take another 3 months before an real update is done. it stays now at 70 % I sure hope we have at least bigger update then the last one if this is 5 minute update i will be very dissapointed.

I just looked at my calendar and you can rejoice, because August is surprisingly already next month!
Seems like we won't have to wait 3 months for a real update after all.
