I think it was more because of my preference for non-RPGM games, so there's always some new update that takes precedence.

Frankly, i think none of us has the slightes of idea unless there is someone who is actually a friend of Icstor and pried some info out of him. Simply because this is going to be the very first content update. But recently his main issue is he is having problem maintaining interest in his own game. In fact he stop IS 2 halfway to work on MIlf Villa then switch back and forth and in the end ending them abruptly together to work on City.But the same time i don't feel that i can't make an arguement over it. I wouldn't say i begrudged anyone though
Like i said. If Milfy City ever gets a rushed ending after we had as much content as we had in IS i would overlook the rushed ending due to the amount of content he already put into it. And it was a bit different back then. Now he has to service his pledgers and he isn't a rookie anymore.
The nature of his main games are always incest theme and puzzle gameplay with almost non existence plot. Dun get me wrong , i give his game a rating 6 on scale 5 just on animation alone even though i am a plot h/c fan.(thats how good i think his graphic animation is) But because there aint any plot , any update could be the last update since its very easy to tie loose ends.
That's why many of his fans previously are taken by surprise on the sudden easy"end" on both games which ended in 4 or less update? Like the ending in Villa , The MC finally gotto screw hot Mum because grandpa told Mum its her duty since last time he screw her ... thats the "level" of ending you can be expecting hehe(dam she is hot so i don't really care)
I don' think its a rookie problem , his games animations had always been the best , MILF city isn't his first game (not even close) and I could be wrong but you sure he is new on patreon? coz even at IS 2 / MILF villa era I definitely remember already seeing ppl posting on his site how much he earning each mth.
I do hope he can keep the interest on this game (big fan of caroline).. but like many wary fans who had follow his games previously... only time will tell how this turn out.

So anyway, yes, the only thing we can do is hope obviously. Some while ago i made an arguement where i did mention that the burning-out can be an issue but thats true for anyone. Its very hard to fight such a thing. I wouldn't be happy if this gets cut in half, but i'm hoping for a more polished result.One thing is certain though. That if he cuts this in half, that will be a serious dent on his resume. Actually i'm hoping that the burn-out was mostly 'cause he was redoing rpgmaker games over and over again. He switched to Ren'Py, but too early he jumped into it, the burn-out effect was still lingering. This is but a theory but i know that it can happen. I just don't know if this was the case with him. Right now, what we can see, is that he took a huge step upwards.
To be perfectly honest, i'm not a fan of this game because its a game and it has a story
I'm waay more interested of the lewd stuff, the very detailed, high-res fapcontent he gives. Wrapped in just enough of a story to spark the excitment before the porn takes over Lets be honest if we would see this same exact story but with much worse renders, crappy animation we would call it average at best. What i really like him that, for my personal taste that is, he gives just the right amount incentive with the story that the porn part can hook into and carry the whole thing on its.. boobs

I share almost everything you've written. But in this game some things were approached very differently.
We have a plausible"?" plot, family members are friendly toward each other, for once is mom the "perverted" one and he choose ren'py for the first time.
The gameplay gives me the impression of being much smoother than in the previous ones and I think that this can be much of help.
I've good sensations about this game.
And regarding your tastes, I'm with you man.

While IS2 was cut short, it at least had some endings. I felt like Milf Villa kinda just stopped with not really much actual sex between you and the other characters (lots of feel-jobs, but not much actual sex). I am not too bothered by it though, as I was not a fan of the models in that game (I think he was trying some "realistic" skin texture , but it made the characters look dirty). Milf Control had the biggest grind to a halt and the ending really felt rushed.
Hopefully this one will be more fleshed out, with more actual sex, I already like the look of the models way more than Milf Villa.

After all the efforts you have to do with mom, I would have expected a very different and more "passionate" final scene.
The good thing in Milfy City is that the roles are inverted. Is mom the one with fantasies, and considering the content already present in this first version, I think that this time none of us will be disappointed!

I think that 1 month of waiting is more realistic. The first version was posted here a month ago and now they are at 50%.
That "updated monthly", for me, is far from the truth.
i downloaded v0.1 February 18 , and now progress shows 50 % so i assumed 2 months max ,icstor is a respected developer and wont disappoint ,also now he is focusing on this single game unlike before where he had 2 games to work on, cant wait for 0.2
