The creators ARE the issue. They can easily take shortcuts, like rendering with a proper lighting setup with no background and a static camera. Or stop rendering their disgusting robot animations since they add nothing to the game. If you can get off to these, you must be an extremely horny guy.

Man, I feel the same way. I responded the same way to his post. I have always said these animations are a waste. I would much rather have a dozen or more renders than a 1-second awkward loop.

Since it is porn and fetish porn at that. There seems to be a disconnect between what a consumer would normally expect. Where else can you go months or even years without producing work and still gain financially? The developers have learned there is no incentive to work hard.

One other thing is this. Most of these developers are not doing it as a full-time job. I get those developers being a little flakey since we all have real lives and things happen. If it is not your real job you are just doing it for some extra cash or out of a passion for the form.

For full-time developers who are well paid. there is no real excuse. Having a downtime? Make fewer profits and hire people to pick up the slack.

Nope. It is the system set up by Patreon. Developers have noticed there are no consequences to reduced or little production. If you average just 10 renders a day. In 2 months you have 540 renders. That is not a lot per day even with DAZ unless you are using a toaster. Most jobs are hard and not done for fun. I was lucky to love my photography job. But the cry me a river about how hard doing renders are. When they are using stock assets. Stock poses and animations. And use Reply or other software. The job is not something everyone can do but it is a stay at home, do anywhere job. BTW HS does not have render times and those developers have had large gaps too. It is the indie game producers being lazy and the lack of accountability of supporters. Real game production is hard work. Making these games is work but not hard by any real standard. Icstor worked for 4 years, a whole 4 years. When the average adult is expected to work for over 4 decades during their lifetime. It is comical to consider 4 years as a long career. Yeah, it is the indie developers.

Yeah. I wouldn't call it burn-out or stress. It's just bad management and understanding the overhead of each decision and corresponding workload that leads to those issues.

- I see a clear lack of a broader horizon for - what is the base game - what is additional content
- I see bad workflows and resource management, time management.
- I see a clear lack of communication to the community. The community is asking for feature after feature. There is a need to forward to the community what the priorities are and what is extra content / content that can be added later.
- Accountability is another issue that goes with understanding your own goals for your project and progress tracking...

How did you reach your conclusion about 10 images a day? Does that include mapping, frames, etc. or just 'rendering'?
Renders: I've noticed in various games that has any usage of rendered-graphics that most of them are incidental, almost like everyone is using default settings or a horrible youtube guide for settings but without clear understanding why / in what situation u should use those settings.
Most of the images should't render longer than 8 - 30 (if scene) minutes on 7th GEN Intel or Ryzen 2nd/3rd. While using farm not longer as 30 seconds.

i know everybody has the right to voice their opinion. i can't understand why people are that angry.
Milf City is no question one of the best Adult-Games here and im very glad that it gets updated with new content.

i can't speak for everyone but a real patreon supporter would just stop supporting until he feels like it again and
not like some people here nonstop hating on the Creator. im looking forward to the future and no-loop animations.
ive played a few games that don't use loops and the presentation of the sex-scenes is absolutely stunning cuz they feel more organic than just loops.

For ICSTOR i have just one advice. For your next Update its nice to have a progression bar but add maybe something like
*it takes how long it takes not to it (other devs do it too)

Nobody is forced to Support but mostly people who don't scream the loudest and are offended
even if they consuming it for free.

my grammatics are terribad and probably nobody gives a flying f*ck about my opinion but nonetheless

I just used 10 as a reasonable workflow. Many renders are just a slight variation of a single render. As a Milfy example, Caroline looks at you. Then she has a kissing face or looks off to the side face. That or changes in camera angles are all considered a seperate render when people talk about how many renders are in an update. In HS you can do more than that but you are talking about DAZ.

It seems like all of these developers throw out as much as they can to start to get patreons. None really have a direction at all. It is the business model of Patreon. Throw out some content, hopefully, generate some interest. Then figure out where their first chapter goes. Some do not even throw out any real content. They throw out just a few renders that show what the game may look like if even done. Grab some cash and then make a plan. Porn logic.

What is your metric for this judgment? Renders are top-notch. The writing is terrible and I mean really terrible. Navigation is your basic Reply with nothing special. (I wish you could access the map from any location) The animations are the same type as everyone else. Is your view 100% all about the renders? Is there anything else you can point to as the "best" in this game?

I was under the assumption do to the lighting, materials, etc., everyone used Cinema3D. Or Unity/Maya workflow. Just asked a few of my old colleagues use DAZ or if they have knowledge of DAZ in any productive environment. Everyone was like "DAZ?". I have to try DAZ over the weekend. On the first note, DAZ looks to be made for patreon.

You sound as if you do real graphics. Way smarter than I am in regards to this subject. DAZAnd HS) is for slobs like me who can use assembled libraries of content to construct graphics.

I do not have a game but I play around with HS Studio NEO. There is no rendering time with that. DAZ locations seem more real and some models do look batter than HS. But I like the Honey Select look better than DAZ on the whole. I think good writing is the key to my enjoyment of these games. None of these games can hold a candle to real porn IMHO. The sillier the game the better for me.

Disagreed with you there. Why?
1-Renders aren't top-notch. There are many flaws. Especially when it comes to gravity. In addition to that, waist of females stays at mid air when they lie. This is unrealistic for me. My top-notch renderer is AWAM's dev. But Icstor is quite good.
2-Story.. This depends from person to person. I did like story quite a lot. Because it was unique.Why? Because, first time in an adult game, girls were trying to seduce MC except Caroline. (at least the ones i played)
3-Animations.. If you ask me to tell you top-3 animations, i would surely put Icstor into top-3. I don't think it is regular everyone's animations.

But there is one thing i agree with you.. Milfy City is not the best adult game here. But top5? Absouletely.

I'm curious if that is even something that can even be improved upon while working in DAZ. Like, can you attach physic properties to bodies to achieve realistic body forces (i.e gravity) and/or collision? If you can, I've never noticed anyone using it.
Or would you have to adjust the meshes manually whenever an actor isn't standing upright? If that's the case, I don't think that would be feasible for hundreds of renders.

You would probably be better off fixing it in photoshop. For someone good at photoshop, this would be a quick fix. The unnatural waist to hip ratio does not help. I do not think there is what you are asking for to be done automatically.
