you know it sounds great on paper and its good to have a plan. But from experience you can have your story planned out and an outline created but you have to be able adjust because of feedback.
In my game for example - I had a clear story in my head and how to execute it but when the game was released I had to adjust and change some things in order to present the story better based on the feedback i got
Compared to Foot of the Mountain, there is no grind.. That game i got very bored on

Each character has youtube video guides you can check if you're stuck. The scenes are removed from there, but the order of doing things is there. I noticed 2-3 errors in the walkthroughs above, but watching the video on the side helps with that.

I'll probably move it to testing in the second week of March and the beta should be out very soon
"However, if he doesn't make a post in February, it would be a really bad sign in my mind. I'd interpret it as him being so done with this game he can't even bother to write a short post for it, even if it loses him patrons.

Yo, I honestly thought about adding a question of who thinks animations will be part of the beta.You forgot "But the animations aren't done. They'll be out in a later testing release."
I have no clue myself. I want to say he can't possibly pull that move again, especially since he said he didn't release 0.7 in December since it would have been another small update without animations.
Then again, he also said he didn't want to release Caroline's 0.6 content before his break because it lacked her animations and then released the entire update months later without them anyway. So, who knows..

He has pretty much said that he would release it when he is done. He finally has learned not to BS and make promises that he won't keep. I think he is better off remaining silent and have suggested as much months ago. I think delays are OK if not ideal. But lies are not. yeah - I can. For example the way Mc was presented in the beginning of the game was way different than what I had in my head, so in the next few updates I’ve had to change storylines and actions he wouldve taken to change people’s opinion on him. Same with another character - her story arc was going to play out differently but because of player’s reactions, she has been sidelined a lot more.

" The official "updates have no eta" rule is nothing new. That has been the case for as long as I can remember and Icstor hasn't stopped putting a version of Very Soon™ in every post he makes without ever commiting entirely. Same as always, honestly.
