What a waste of potential... A little bit of passion could have made this game longer and better. Well even though he's rushing it we are atleast gonna get some content still never gonna trust this guy ever cause he'll probably start new stuff up and then lose the passion for it.News #19 - Update and Apologies
Hello everyone, it’s been a while. First of all I want to say that I’m sorry for a lack of communication lately. I knew I should make this post sooner, but I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to do and I had to consider all the options with myself and some of my team members. I know that probably a lot of you started to hate me, but there’s nothing I can do besides saying that I’m really sorry. To be honest I’m burned out again with working on Milfy City. I was thinking that taking a break again could be a solution, but to be honest I know it’s not. I’ve learned one thing in the last few years of creating games but I’ll write about it later in the post.
What about Milfy City?
When it comes to Milfy City, I’m considering creating the last two BIG updates to Milfy City. I want to finish all characters' storylines which the player could already start to not leave any started story unfinished. Let’s call it version 0.9 and 1.0. I’ll probably make version 0.9 a little smaller so you can guys get the content sooner. Probably with Linda and Sara's complete storyline. Everyone that has supported or is supporting me now, since the beginning of this year will receive those updates for free.
What about the release date?
I don’t know, and I don’t want to give any exact month or day because we know how it could end. I’ll post the news always at the end of the month with current progress.
Current progress bar?
I know that in its current form it’s not really helpful and related to the truth. There are things that are not on my side to do so I can’t really tell how much time other members of the team need. I’m thinking about changing it to a general percent of completion with separate boards, like renders/programming/writing and testing.
What about the future and after completing Milfy City?
I’ve learned one thing in the last few years of making games. (Maybe too late…?) In order to finish the game as I want, without being burned out I can’t make more than 4-5 updates. It’s just who I am. I like creating new stuff and new characters. It’s exactly then, at the beginning when I feel passion and I love creating it and I can work even all day without being exhausted. So, I decided that my future games will be separated into episodes. (For sure no more than four/five). No more creating versions 0.3,0.4,0.5,0.6 .etc Because in every next version I became less and less interested in the project. I’ve already got a great idea for the story for my next game. But, for now only the programmer is working hard on all the mechanics that I want to implement.(There’s a lot) In regards to Milfy City he has nothing else left to do until I create renders. So, I have to finish my part first in order to let him start working on it. In the meantime he’s working hard so we’ll be able to release the first episode MAYBE even at the end of this year.
I want to apologize once again for the lack of communication lately, and I’m hoping that there are still a lot of people waiting to see Linda, Sara and a few others characters again

That depends on him keeping this contract workteam alive for his next projekt.Onyxdime maybe you can give this suggestion to ICSTOR. His issues with completing projects aren't rare. Lots of projects start off with a bang, then get bogged down later as the people doing them flail around aimlessly, with no direction.
What he needs to do is apply some software engineering concepts to his work flow.
When he comes up with the idea for a new project, and works on creating the characters, etc, he should write out a high level overview of the whole story. He should decide what goes into each update at the start of the project. If he wants to keep the voting thing going on Patreon, he could vote for which side girls go into which update - honestly, they're pretty interchangeable, from an update perspective.
Design, then code (render, whatever).
He should also work more like an assembly line - do a scene, then send the renders for that scene to you and the coder to write/code that scene. That way you're all working in parallel, instead of sequentially.
If he has the full design fleshed out up front, he'll have goals to hit for each episode, and know exactly what needs to be accomplished.
Personally I think he tried to reignate his passion partly by working on something new that still fits into the lines of the game... and failed horriblyWhat? So he decides to for some reason start a new storyline with freakin neighbors who had never ever have any role in the story whatsoever instead of doing Violet or Judy content, even though they are paramount to some parts of the story, and then they get nothing? WHAT? xDxDxD This is mindblowing level of logic, my dudes. xD
I'm too burned out by Icstor endings to have faith on this game, he's going to get bored like always. ::|:
An even easier thing he could do is also simply hire an actual software engineer to replace his coder. I don't want to sound rude to his coder but Milfy City has some of the worst code I've seen in a game. 0.6 took five updates to fix all of the bugs that it had and that's just unacceptable imo.Onyxdime maybe you can give this suggestion to ICSTOR. This will always be a very funny image:An even easier thing he could do is also simply hire an actual software engineer to replace his coder. The fact that ICSTOR thinks that's fine though and already has his coder working on his new game and implementing new ideas for new mechanics he's thought of makes me doubt that ICSTOR will ever make any change in the way he manages projects if he doesn't even realize how absurd it is having to do 5 bug fix updates every time he releases a new major update.

In games with extended and unique game mechanics maybe... but a straightforward VN?5-6 fixes each update is nothing out of the ordinary, it can happen to everyone.
Some people hv started to see it, he is losing patreons everyday not many but enough for him to drop from 2nd-3rd best adult dev on patreon to 8th place, and on discord his a mess.Called it. I really hope some of the people supporting him wake up by now, he does this every single time.
I think I agree. And it's not easy to combat it, I know it from my own experience writing articles and doing research. It gets annoying when you pick a topic that turns out less fun than you though, but you are too deep in it to leave it.Personally I think he tried to reignate his passion partly by working on something new that still fits into the lines of the game... and failed horribly
Weird to make excuses for him. bottom line is he has never delivered a finished game. As a dev that would eat me up to do something like that when you have that many people invested in you. The guilt would be overwhelming to me.What? Edit: Ok, relax, if it's gonna be: Linda + Sara 0.9 finished stories and in 1.0 there's gonna be Lisa+Jasmin, and some scenes with Judy and Violet, + endings, and hopefully the classmate (even though it might be fine if not, since I can't even remember her name, but can you blame me, when Icstor didn't make any progress with her?), then it's fine. If not... god damn, that would be reeeeaaaally stupid. How the stupid Neighbors come in, is beyond me, they should be excluded, because they don't offer anything to the story... even the French twins story was pointless content.
They were an A1 level example of why you shouldn't allow the patrons to decide on your game's content.even the French twins story was pointless content.
No, of course, no, how could i be sarcastic about such a MASTERPIECE named MILFY CITY made by our Lord and Savior Incelstor. Sarcasm is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable when it comes to a talented and reliable GENIUS like Incelstor and his absolutely breathtaking creation like MILFY CITY! This game is such an enlightening and eye-opening experience that there's no game that could even think about competing with such a GEM.Please tell me you are just being sarcastic about this... cause otherwise you are either not playing any other games here or are blinded and blinding others with baseless Propaganda...
Even though, the fact that such an outstanding masterpiece will be finished soon incredibly saddens me, there's one thing that makes me be optimistic about the future - Incelstor is GENIUS and the best porn game developer ever existed, so i know that his new game will be an absolute blast with a new outstanding, fresh, different, and very original story, just like all of his previous games. So guys, instead of being sad and whiny better rejoice because very soon we all will be able to dip into Incelstor's new game with an amazing, well-thought, incredibly written story, with a likeable main character who is very easy to self-insert into for any decent human being, and of course don't forget about absolutely amazingly well-written female characters which are easy to fall in love with.News #19 - Update and Apologies

Amen bro, Incelstor is genius and his games are the best without any doubt. It is not surprising that such a big scale game is burning him out, I am glad he is doing OK!
Cannot wait to see what he has in store for us![]()
Or another attempt by ICStor to delay his own "burnout" by working on something new that barely fits into the world he had innitially createdThey were an A1 level example of why you shouldn't allow the patrons to decide on your game's content.
