Lol even if his patreon took a big hit from people leaving, it wouldn't change Icstor's ways. He already admitted he's lost interest in this project, both vocally and by his actions. This game peaked at .5, any future update will never be as good so abandoning his patreon would just give Icstor less money each month, not improve the quality or speed of the updates.

He said himself he just enjoys creating new characters and stories more (he's made about six games already so he's not kidding about that) yet everyone wants more MILFY CITY forever more so he's declared doing 2 more updates just to give all characters an ending which hasn't gone down well and the longer it takes to do even that the more insults he's been bombarded with leaving bigger silences and I assume writers block as he's coming across as unmotivated to meet the demand for MILFY CITY. Honestly it's probably the biggest Porn Game in the world right now so I don't envy him as he can't win either way.

The trouble is everyone was blowing smoke up his ass giving him the false sense of belief that he hit a gold mine with this game. He's even admitted on his discord that Milfy City was a culmination of everything he learnt from his past games (both failures and achievements), so technically this is actually his FIRST game that he put any real effort into and now he's being pressured to work, he's now backing out because he was never really challenged before. He got the formula right with this game but his attitude is "I like to make new games with new concepts" when he doesn't realize he's sitting on a Golden Goose egg, not in terms of money (sine he knows that) but it terms of everything falling together.
The next update better be released soon, he's being watched ever so carefully now. If this flops then we know this game is done for, also he chose Sara of all the girls too kill this game. No one will wait around for the update after v0.7 if it sucks, no one has that kind of patience.
As long as there is a decent harem ending within the next year I'll be satisfied with this game. In the end it's just that, a game. And one that I didn't pay a single penny for. It entertained me for hours and hours and I haven't even played it past v0.4 yet.

Check with a virus scanner if unsure, i have downloaded 20 or so games from this site and only had 1 that was suspect.
It was a false positive so it was fine!.

No writers block, no perfectionism, no anxiety. Just plain old fashioned laziness. If anyone wants to find the person to blame, find his Patrons and hold a mirror up to their faces. Thats it. He has abandoned games in the past, has had massive delays in the past, and it never resulted in him losing financial support. This is a learned behavior.
edit - i also wanna say that even back during his earlier work, i would see lots of story paths that would diverge from the harem thing (cheating type stuff or more 'hardcore' bdsm etc.) and he always stopped short with those storylines and just kinda...left it hanging. I believe one of the reasons he gets bored is that he cannot pursue spicier kinks because of how large his audience is. He has a mainstream audience, so the kinks must be mainstream not niche. I believe he would have more enthusiasm but is held back. this has actually killed off creators (not killed literally just mean they gave up on game making) in the past.

If that is the case it would be a smart move of him to make 'new games' ... 'new concepts' and after one year or so (let us say five updates) sell the game to a different game developper to finish it and cash what is left...

Thing is, that wouldn't be smart since there's only a finite amount of stories you can really make in this genre. You're just rehashing and repackaging the same story with different renders and artwork. So instead of pretending you are Spielberg or Picasso, stick to a game that's working for you and just deliver on that concept. Does this guy think he's going to "revolutionize the porn game world" with his next title? Like no one gives a fuck, we just want a some what cohesive story with hot MILF renders.
