I really find it just sad that he abounded his game and I also can't understand why. I mean he has plenty of time, money and no worries right now . I find it understandable that the development slows down or even stops entirely for a time( or even a long time) when you have plenty of money and no obligation to work a full-time or part-time job, i mean who of us wouldn't just enjoy live and do nothing all-day for a time but really who can do that an entire year or longer and on top of that he abounded a project that everybody loved and praised him for.
I'm in a somewhat similar situation where I have plenty of time and my general needs are being taken care of but no money
for about 2 years now. And I'm not doing nothing I'm learning 3d art and programming by myself to one day make a great H game and other games myself (but not in renpy thats why I'm still learning) and no amount of money would change that.
And thats what I don't understand about it, he has money, skills and time why not work on something meaningful that gives people happiness and yourself satisfaction, something to look at and say "I did that great thing". All those "fun" activities in live are great to have some short time relaxation but they really at least in my opinion, don't give someone happiness in live. A man needs to build something and finish it, not abound it and lose himself completely in meaningless pursuits and/or start one project after another only to abound it.
