Don't know if the dev would be ok with it, but since you don't want to monetize it, it shouldn't be a problem. Just release it as a mod and it should be fine.

You don't have to apply for copyright. All matwrials made are protected by copyright laws. Even in across national borders due to the Berne Convention establishing that governments will respect, and protect, eachothers copyright and IP laws. America is Unique with it's DMCA though, basically destroying good copyright laws.

No, because renpy is like a slideshow software with text and the main images are made by using daz 3d.daz 3d and renpy are both separate with no link with each other. So we need assets info from daz3d.
And yet most people (like you) just run their mouth and never develop a game. Paying icstor might be dumb but there are more than enough other devs who deserve support...
the assets are there but the correct morphs and settings are not there.
Don't forget, you don't have his artistic talent, nor access to his computer, too.
