We've been at 90% now for some time. If we get the update this month can we put the claims that Icstor as a milker to rest? If it gets pushed back to September I think it's pretty clear what he's doing.

It's not milking if the new content justifies the amount of time waited between releases....
Milking is apparent when the release comes out regularly and regular intervals but the content included is hardly enough to justify the monthly wait.

In those cases the Dev usually puts in a week to two of work and just waits till the month is up to release it just to keep the money rolling in and does that every month so that it takes 4 months to get what a good non-milking dev gives you in just two months.

I don't believe that is the case with this game at all...
And the high quality of the Animations justifies the long time between an update because they take forever to render especially at the quality he is rendering them at.

Everyone is waiting for his/er update maybe I don't have much to compare but in my opinion Icstor is the best for Carolins line, and this update is for her I'm really really motivated thanks to all patreons for do that possible

Ugh, I think we need to ban the word "milking" from this forum (unless it's specifically in reference to lactation). There is an abandoned tag, we don't need to bicker about it. Don't see the tag? Be patient, it's coming. Between accusations of milking (sidebar: I defended Irredeemable for so long before he abandoned his game, but I stand by it, the discussion about milking patrons didn't get anything accomplished other than sow discontent and create idiotic arguments) and the unholy N word that is banned from this thread, there is just so much bullshit that people argue about.

Your pictures do not open. In the office on Bob's desk there are documents - they can be sorted (at speed) at noon, and money for it is taken from Bob in the morning in the same office

I like Acting Lessons alot, but IMO Icstor renders are step above the rest. The animations are probably the best on the site. And quality takes time. But ya, anybody that claims Icstor is comparable to Gumdrop is out of their minds lol.

If dev decides increase the amount of time to have more content in update, people complain: "too slow."

I think that any idiot who asks when the update is coming, even though the answer is on every page of the thread, should get a temporary ban. of the nearly 500 pages on this thread, about 40 pages is just people asking about release dates

ICSTOR isn't a milker per se not in the standard patreon way, rather he knows his audience and caters to them in a simple, formulaic, predictable and consistent way, i'm not suggesting his stuff is low quality, rather that he's not looking to produce amazing game play or anything innovative or new just to do what he does and do it well, which he does reliably.

Until milf city i wasn't a fan of ICSTOR, rather i respected what he was doing, the renders he was putting in his games and his ability to crank out playable games in relatively short order, his track record is one of the best of the outright independent patreon types on here.

In short i'd say ICSTOR isn't a milker in the way Gumdrop is, or in the way patreon projects can be, instead he keeps producing the product and we keep paying for it, you could say he's milking the genre fairly but it's a gold mine both figuratively and literally, he's found his market niche and is doing the job, fair play to the man.
