Thing is, its not about the job itself but the person that does it. There is a simple reason why football players earn millions and you don't. Or why Picasso by drawing a few lines on a paper that looks like a 7 years old drawn this managed to be worth millions. It's because you cannot replace these persons. You can replace a building worker, despise its a really hard job, because everything can do this the same way.
There are a few hundred wannabee projects here and likely a few thousands more on Patreon and they all draw some naked boobies you jerk off to. But not all of their authors earn $50k per month and that has something to do with drawing boobies is not drawing boobies and kicking a ball around is not kicking a ball around.
I knew Icstor before he was moving to Renpy and he always delivered and his content was more high quality than everything else. It's funny how fast people can start raging, talking about rip offs and making fun of it while not a few month ago they were sitting in front of their computers and jerked off to his drawn boobs and praised his content.
If all of this would be a super important problem, then he would be at 0 backers now. As he isn't the problem is likely not as big as some people's blue balls here making them to constantly bitches around as part of their discontent by not getting naked boobies the time they want.

Not sure how you managed to get to the quality of the content the dev has always been good with that, people are not making fun of that at all it's the constant delays that's getting to everyone here.

That's just the typical monthly payment issue slough. Every dev gets that.
Because he doesn't see a need to provide other languages. If you think he's wrong, make a translation and present it to him.

Yep, no reason he can't hire a translator, if he were a small time dev then fair enough, but the size he's at it would make sense for him to put out a Spanish version at least, probably French and German too but then he'd have to pay them each update and perhaps he thinks he wouldn't make his money back on the translations?

General Motors make billions of dollars a year. Should they start selling cars in India again because they make that much? Your conclusion is a non sequitur - "he should hire a translator" does not follow from "he got 7k$ per month".
"He should hire a translator" would follow from "providing translations would increase his income or appeal", not from "he's got enough money to do it". Unless there's some hidden groundswell of patrons asking for this, it's just some dude on a pirate site. A site that ICSTOR loathes.
