Looking at your post gave me the weirdest idea. What if a large number of people apply the incest patch, take screenshots of the game, and then report it to patreon? What would happen then?
Most likely nothing. I'm not sure Patreon really gives a fuck about their own guidelines as long as creators don't advertise it when they break them. I can think of at least two games featured here that had incest for a long time (one from it's incarnation) and have been on Patreon for 2+ years without any issues as far as I know. The games I'm thinking of don't require a patch either.

I've so far only seen Evangelion-01 make this point but all people calling on Patreon need to remember that they take a cut out of all creators paycheck's and until recently, Icstor's been one of their top money makers. They get paid when he's getting paid and they'd have zero incentive to get rid of him unless they were faced with some seriously negative publicity. Which is not going to happen, because nobody is gonna spread the story about those people feeling scamed when their favorite incest themed porn game was abandoned.
Not that they should, not like they're spending my money...

Jesus all this crying makes me want to actually go support Icstor... all this whinnying about "never-ending" games is so pathetic its almost laughable... Icstor has like 4 or 5 COMPLETED games, you can cry foul that YOU hated the endings for IS2 and Milf's Villa, but that's YOUR problem...

The games had endings, their plotlines were resolved. Could the mom from Milf Villa have used way more than 1 sex scene before the damn game ended ? of fucking course !! Yet it still gave closure...

IS2 is even more iffy I dont know what people wanted from that game's ending, actually scratch that, the main complaint I heard from that one was utterly asinine... people wanted Icstor to follow the shitty "mom gets raped" route, and give an ending to that... ROFLMAO at that stupid sentiment... that was meant to be a fucking bad end, something you DIDNT want.

Again I am not defending ICSTOR in the sense that I think he is without faults... but the shit being brought up against him makes me LOL... save this anger for truly scumbag devs that milk the shit out of their patrons like Scumdrop (Gumdrop) who hasnt released a damn update for the crappy depressive game Dual Family in 2 YEARS!!!! and still makes 8k a month, more than Icstor's 6k ! Or AWAM Dev who has been making 7.5k for the past two years, and his game has 1 SEX SCENE... he releases 3 updates per year !!

I mean if we are going to smear devs just because we dont like the endings THEY chose for their games, then toss me in for DrPink's Acting Lesson, 2 of the routes in MSMR from Sumo, The last 3/4 of Spaced Out, The ending of Two Weeks, Everything in Bully, the entirety of Dual Family, the bugs in Second Happiness, the revamp of My New Life, etc...

Just a quick point. Icstor recently fell to 6k patrons, not dollars. He made about 7.5$ per Patron before he made the actual current amount private.

Also, do you really think people are angry about an creative decision that isn't to their taste? Personally, I rather think people are tired of being lied to which now culminated with Icstor basically admitting that he's been bullshitting people. It's certainly arguable wether there is any merit to people complaining or if pirates have any moral high ground or if they should argue on behalf of Patrons they deem to stupid to do it for themselves. But I invite you to read all these (mostly) quotes Icstor made regarding the development and release dates of the last two version and I'm curious to know if you still think the issue here is a disagreement about a creative decision:

Would it be against any kind of laws if another game dev finished this game properly? I'm not asking for myself since I know fuck-all about programming, but it sucks to see the ship sink like this

While reading the last ~20 pages, I have to be honest. It is a SHAME.

Not what people are posting, but what the delay, another delay, another delay caused in the end. I was myself a big fan of the games from ICSTOR. Truth be told, these where one of the first porn games I ever tried. So I became a fan just by the quality he always delivered. Last year I myself dropped out of being a supporter, because I want to see things at one point. And the quality of 0.6 was... Well. You are all aware of how it was.

So what are the options now to "turn that baby around". Well in normal game development honest posting of things that are right now happening. Sure he now did this, but where exactly is the core message: I will deliver content X on date Z. Sorry, without this, all of the text was just another message.

I personally still hope he will continue working in the quality way I was used to see the games and the content provided in the past. Otherwise, I will really abonden all of the future content just not to get dissaoppointed. Because it is a shame what happened to all of its reputation, quality and effort.

I wonder at what point people will just finally decide to stop pledging. That's the only message that works - taking away money. I did that a long time ago and never plan on pledging to him ever again.

He makes between 6-14k. Based on experience with the values showed there, it´s in the middle. Which is unbelievable....

Data origin:
That'd be assuming his average pledge was $1-2. You need to pledge a minimum $10 a month to download the game, and the last numbers we had for the average amount pledged per patron was somewhere around $8. We'll be generous and say he's had a dropoff to a $7 average, so 6400 patrons * $7 each = $44800 per month. Even with a fairly wide window, it's very likely he's been pulling somewhere between $35-55k a month for most of the last year.

He keeps most of that for himself, too, since his "team" is all contractors. And I could be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure he said a while back that he was hiding the amount he actually makes because he didn't want said contractors to know and therefore demand more money.

Data origin:
You're wrong. Multiply the number of patrons by 10. He's roughly making btw 60-80k $(some patrons pledge way more than 10 bucks) without doing anything :KEK:

Not to get into this argument of yours ;) but I would like to point out that Graphtron itself gives an estimate of his monthly income. Now I know that I might be wrong but I would assume that they (Graphtron) do have some experience in estimating this number.

Data origin:
Wrong. It is between $16K - $42k per month. Likely closer to the top estimative than the bottom one.
