I play unmodded MT - I never had a problem playing any of the scenes in the gallery.

The problem occurs with all the scenes that have animation in it but I can replay the ones without animation just fine. These screenshots are some examples of the scenes I'm having trouble with.
If you are playing in story mode, no mods, and you have unlocked the appropriate paths, then I'm not sure what the problem is.I appreciate your reply.

These animated scenes use .webm video files, so may be the problem lays here. Like, you don't have some video codecs installed or something like that. Please tell - can you play .webm files in general on your device?
Yeah the .webm files do play when I open them in the game files and I can play .webm files in general.

Hmm.. Are you playing on a PC? Have you tried a compatibility mode with some other operating systems?
I am playing on a PC. I used the compatibility troubleshooter and it set the game to run on windows 8 whereas my computer is on windows 11 and that switch seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you for your help.

It's a great game. In my heart for a long time.
So can anyone tell how what happened to this great game's creator/artist. There has been no update on any other game.
the main guy from Kuma went a bit nuts and pushed ridiculously big stuff but the moment something looked like it may backfire, pretty much closed down the WHOLE thing
Kuma is the creator.
I don't recall who his artist was.
MT was not sufficiently successful with $ supporters for Kuma to continue to tell the MT story he originally envisioned.
It received a truncated ending but it at least it got completed.
The dev and his team created a Manga (based on his original AVN - No More Golden Days) for something like a year (I don't recall the exact month to month dates) before they launched Neon Touch.
NT was intended to be a story that attracted more $ support but it did not, and it died on the vine.
The dev could not afford the VA and artist expenses with the $ level of support he was receiving.
I don't know if the dev is still active under a different User ID on F95 but his studio is effectively shut down.
I wish I had better news to share.

iirc issue was game's setting was the ambiguous 'academy' setting which is apparently against Steam policy or something. Game definitely would have gotten a lot of support on Steam but also this game was from 2019, RenPy adult games only emerge in popularity on Steam in recent years.
They did - not enough $ support to continue.
There has been some great modding since then, but the art style and VA made this unique, IMO, but it never really caught on with a wide enough paying audience.

AFAIK all of the lockpicking minigames should have a "skip" button somewhere. But there's one instance with unlocking Karen's office that's unwinnable by design - you're supposed to lose this one.

This is the MariaS mod: True Harem Ending - Part I. What does the "S" stand for? It's Shirley.
The mysterious whore trainer of the MASK has finally appeared before us. This is the biggest and longest mod I've ever made, as well as the most unconventional. I have no idea how to summarize this mod, so I'll just list what's in it.
1) Octavia & Claudia's extended dual corruption ending
2) Maria & MILF cum-slut harem
3) Incorporation of Studio Kuma's Patreon bonus images
4) The young Claudia story arc
5) An unhealthy amount of Daddy issues
6) Never-before-used images & audio from the vanilla game
Disclaimer! The tone of this mod is "rough" and "kinky", to say the least. So if you are only into vanilla stuff, I would advise you to take caution with this one (except for young Claudia).
It will deal with girl-on-girl action, threesomes, foursomes, fivesomes, gangbangs, BDSM & polyamorous relationships, losing virginity, Daddy issues, a lot of rough sex, spanking, cum swapping, groping, impregnation, incest, etc.
However, because this mod also serves as an introduction to LOCKMAKER (True Harem Ending - Part II), I have confined the kinkier stuff (MMF threesomes, double penetrations, bondage, groping, gangbangs, etc.) inside a skippable section.
All events in MariaS take place after the threesome scene with Octavia & Claudia, so you should see the choice menu shown below.

How to install:
1. When you extract the zip file, there should be 1 script file named "script_day22_OctaviaClaudia.rpy" and 1 folder named "MariaSimages" containing two subfolders ("events": 75 jpg + 14 png + 2 webm files, "sprites": 41 png files), 5 png files, and 3 ogg files.
2. Take both (1 script & 1 folder) and put them in the "game" folder.
3. The script file will overwrite the original one, and the folder should now be in the location "game/MariaSimages".
4. Enjoy.
p.s: Arnav Dasari also contributed to this mod by providing ideas and access to various never-before-seen images.
