I think it was the fact that the elf and catgirl are adopted siblings and there’s a threesome scene with both of them in it. So basically not incest at all and Patreon was being ridiculous.

Exactly, that's what it was, I was a long time fan, putting Redamz BS aside, patreon basically said that it was incest because they are "sisters" I mean they aren't even the same race, so it's fcking stupid. But what can you do.

He was clearly losing motivation considering how slowly he was making progress and reported 2 sex scenes from the last update (the beach one with the weird ladies, and snake mommy) they where supposed to be part of the last update we got but he kept making excuses for a few months etc, until finally he quit patreon due to the problems. I mean if he barely worked on it while making bank, I have a feeling that him working on it in his free time for "passion" isn't going to get him anywhere fast. honestly I'm skeptical. I really hope he does finish it, despite the flaws I still think it's a great game.

Unfortunately, it's not even mostly patreon's fault. It's the payment processors, in the past 8+ years they've been on a crusade against porn stuff, and have completely blocked alot. That and lots of "right wing" people.

Well he said he would work on it at his own pace, but since he does not give any sign of life, not even on his discord, not a simple "Hi" It's easier to assume that for now it's dead, even if he finishes it, it could take a few years, so the tag is fine, you could say to put "On Hold" But that tag would mean he does not work on it currently, yet he said he does, but does not prove it (not that he has to), So the logical course is to put abandoned that way people don't get their hopes up.

In simple terms, since he does not get paid for it anymore, and does not give any signs of life. The course of the game is up to the developer whims. Money is a motivation he does not get anymore. So he could actually quit whenever he wants. That's the risk we have now.
