Grinding is a bad thing in a game, so I took that into consideration during development. This game discourages grinding since monster girls don't give money, and if you just don't run from battles, you will have enough exp to beat it. When I play, I never grind, and even so, I'm able to beat it quite easily. Of course, you still have to option to grind if you want to, but that won't give you much reward aside from exp, which isn't as linear as some games, after each level the requirements increase a lot, forcing you to go after the following parts of the game. There are also other systems to use that don't depend much on your level, like attack items and skills. To be honest I am a sucker for a good story so maybe that was what it was. I've been grinding out repetitive tasks in games since before there were even save games (I was playing ColecoVision and Atari 2600 when they were new) so maybe I'm just tired of redundancy in games. At any rate after your comment I may give this game a try after all. I just hope it is more sandbox and less grind fest.
Anyway, just keep in mind I also don't like grinding, so I'd never require it on a game I make.
