I think the problem the players have are the unexpected bookmarks (events) that Bob uses. Like the kitchen cleanup or bookmarks that only happen at a specific time. But then there is the grind of six dinner dresses (over 6 days), and if you have done most of the other bookmarks no other bookmarks come up during the day. That forces you to repeat them or skip time to 10pm.

Actually there are 8 dresses, and with each dress there is a bookmark. There may be the same procedure for the first 6 dresses (there are differences for dress 7 and 8). But there are new dresses and you can also compliment a woman in real life every time she wears a different dress. Therefore, in my opinion, the bookmarks are justified. When it comes to cleaning the kitchen, my wife is always happy when I do it. That's why Bob gets a love point from Julia when he does it. In real life, we also increase our relationships by meeting several times. And we also do almost always the same thing at the meetings. That's why I think it's all done right in the game (it's supposed to simulate life).

You might be right - that's why I'm now making a new version of episode 2 with gallery and hint system included. I have made it like this so everyone will have a chance to see all images in the game. That's also the reason why I don't call it events but bookmarks.

Don't bother with changing variables. The game mechanics and underlying code make cheats unnecessary and at several points will "break" your game - you won't be able to trigger certain events.

There are two main variable tests in the code: did you complete a certain event and do you have a certain number of love or shyness (and maybe lust?) points. If you use a cheat to change your score far below/above the threshold for a certain event then the event won't trigger, so you can't progress to the next event that requires the lower/higher score.

Every night the values are reset to the maximum/minimum necessary to trigger all events in the version you are playing. Example: Shyness resets to 85 if it's less than 85, but there are no tests in the code requiring a lower score than 85, so cheating is not necessary.

The other type of cheat would be to mark an event you haven't completed as complete. What's the point? You will have missed an event.

Finally someone able to explain what i have been trying to saying with more patience and clarity.

Well yes and no as far as the help system in the game; it is being worked on daily I think to improve it. I did like (to a point) the previous in game help where hints came up on the screen, I thought it was very helpful and progression through was without a lot of grind to a point as it is not 100% fool proof and needed work, but still extremally helpful.
As for someone remaking a "Mod" that works without breaking the code of the game I am sure could be done but would require a ton of work and maybe even have to be on Bob's team to do it as they would have to know the inter workings of the built in point cap system in each episode. Not saying that it cant be done just that it will be an exstream amount of extra work to get it to blend into the game and not break it.

I think he means the wt part of the mod . Which shouldn't break the game . It's mostly the cheats which will.And yes it's possible but would require a lot of work.

I'm working hard to finish a new version of episode 3 with in game gallery and hint system for episode 2 (3 is coming later). It's already implemented in episode 4 and seems to work ok. With this in-game hint system no mod or WT is needed. You can just play and if you feel you're stuck - just enter the gallery and move your mouse over the blurred gallery and you'll know what to do.
