Agreed. Honestly, if the dev wants to go that route, power to them. I'll never want to try and dictate if someone should try or not to pull off something but I do agree that it would make zero sense.
The only way it would, would be if the MC initiates the corruption but does not have full control over the woman and then the "enemies" manage to get a small but tangible hold on her and then she gets wilder with them from that.
Like, a tug-of-war that the MC would lose over who controls the corruption of the lady and the result going with her fully "falling" into a lust-addicted slut that would stop caring about her son and go with the master(s) that bring her the most pleasure. A concept that I've seen done in some hentai already.
NTR is not my cup of tea and definitely the dev needs to walk a fine line for this to work but, if they can pull it off, NTR fans could have another fine game.

Look honestly I really liked the story so far very well written Sue and beautiful and sexy and see it being corrupted and a wonderful feeling and remember that this is a game, where we can fulfill the darkest desires and have played it countless times and I can travel in the written words of this game and I find it very immersive because I want it to continue doing a good job and the cool thing that includes what the characters are thinking this is very cool
Nice renders, decent story so far (though there should be more of a narrative transition after the boob job, like ... a couple weeks later..., or something). However it's way too short in the current release so will have to wait for several more updates to see how it goes.

you can define the relationship at the beginning so yes you can avoid it (even tho in the dialogue it's implied they have a motherly/son relationship)

Probably thinking of Acting Lessons, which had the MC's best friend as black, a super cool dude if I remember correctly, been awhile since I played that one. Being A DIK has some black frat members the MC is cool with, no NTR vibes, but they are more secondary characters (or were, again haven't played that one in awhile).
Unfortunately the black guy usually falls into rude idiot with giant hypnotizing dick category in a lot of porn. I can't really think of many other games that feature a black friend, or similar. The Lewdest House has his black friend, who plays a minor part for the plot, that may fit. Shoot, now you got me thinking of how many games feature a black friend or co-worker etc. that isn't an NTR flag.
