The game tells me that not giving your ladies a cut of the milk-selling money will impact their mood, but the game also never takes a cut of your cheese-selling money on Sunday. If you put all your milk into cheese and are never have any milk-selling revenue to give, does it just never apply the mood penalty?

its been a while, but iirc... mood only seems to affect the one sister (Bianca?) and no one else. I think you may be right that just putting it all into cheese bypasses any penalty. This may get fixed if/when that new update ever comes out.

Money isnt really an issue in this game, so I just paid my ladies well, roleplay style. Made me feel good about myself. Im selfish like that.

Just talking about the numbers - assuming their numbers are accurate, and going off your 4 hrs/week figure, I'd say that 7k images and 1 hour animation is good for 250 hours work. I'm not an artist/modeller/writer so I can't accurately predict how long 7k images would take to make. But I'd maybe triple it (~1000 hours) for all of the content described. That would seem a reasonable amount of effort per month for this big update.

Of course, I'd probably expect/want more than 250 hours work for a Patreon earning that much money. But if it is a large update (7k+ images), I can understand that it took over a year. I'm not a Patreon of any AVN's because of the inconsistency in any dev's schedule. If I can, I prefer to buy the game outright on itch/steam for the content they've already made, hoping they'll finish it or at least get a few updates.

If I was a dev, I'd want to do a release every few months, at least. Just to keep people interested. But I can understand that just doing a release is a fair amount of prep work. It requires notices on various platforms, upload, testing, and monitoring a release for bugs. If you get into a monthly release schedule, prep work can take up a relative large percentage of work done every month. So larger, singular releases can cut back on the release stress.

Images are generate using koikatsu so more posing work, unless there making new characters, and, or locations. Even so that can still take time getting things just right. I used HS once clothing physics or a pain. Don't you hate when the girls legs go through there skirts when they sit down.

I can see that much work taking 250 hours. I can see it taking less. It all depends or level of perfectionism and wither or not things line up right along with complexity of the scenes. I remember being on the discord of another dev on this site, and looking at the complexity of some of the scenes they made. Some were straight forward, and others that looked simple in game were way more complex then you could ever tell from playing it. It is hard to judge really.

Personally I can see whey a over hall could have been necessary, but I will reserve judgment first until after the update comes out, and wait until the dev those fall into the remake hell before I assume they will.

I may like the game more, or may like it less, but I will not know until it is released.

Important to remember that the 250 hrs number is a rather conservative, low-ball number I came up with. He could've spent half that time, only dedicating two hours a week to this project. Or far more, closer to 500 or 1000.

I don't really need or particularly want to know the ins and outs of how each dev goes about their work. The point is to show that even with a small amount of effort, the length of time since the last update is quite high. That again, isn't a problem, until our dev starts inviting speculation onto themselves by promising (repeatedly) Soon™ as the release window. I'd rather them go entirely silent and quote Mr. Incredible when asked if we're there yet.

But I agree. It's hard to judge.

It was kinda funny getting to the end of the current content and having the game say the next update will be smaller and not take as long to release, knowing that it's now been close to a year and a half and the update will supposedly be the biggest one yet.

I'm supposed to milk charlenne and take angelina to swim a 2nd time, but i can't seem to get either of those to trigger at all. am i just at the end of the current version or am i missing some stupid ass mechanic that never gets explained by extremely vague "hints" in the quest log?

Man... a whole month since I last posted and nothing still. If I remember right, last month they were doing some testing with this next update. So chances are it's just being polished... does not excuse however how much of a slog it has been between updates. I am more than willing to be patient with something like this however the fact we aren't really being shown any sort of previews or what to expect is a bad sign either: he got lazy or something else came up. It's really not looking good. I am holding a bit of hope we'll see it soon. But if it is late October or later, I'd be disappointed by the failure to deliver on time. But at the same time if I could lend some credence, it must be hellish revamping all of the previous code trees and then putting together a new one which I imagine would've taken quite a bit to untangle. Because as simple as a Ren'py game can be in presentation, not accounting for the production of the art assets or writing, making sure specific events properly function can take a while if it is messy. Especially given just what a mess the game is currently regarding hints and an absence of signposting when it comes to tasks which results in people having to brute force a solution instead of figuring it out. I still remember the burn I felt when attempting to talk to a single character at the right time of day and day of the week. It was hellish. So I hope in this massive overhaul they do remedy that stuff and better inform the player.

They arent the dev of this project. But you are right, they did make a good game. Waiting until their next is finished before I check it out.

This dude is making nearly $3.3k a month "working" on this game. its insane to be making this much for just a "side" project. you'd at least feel like you owe it to your supporters to be more frequent with the updates.

I've paid more than that for a 2 bedroom apartment in a decrepit building. It's not that I don't get what you're saying but that's really not quit your job money in a lot of places in the world. Idk what the dev does for their regular work but if they're too busy to work on this game then it probably also pays a hell of a lot better than this game. The progress to income is an issue for him and his supporters to work out. If it was quit your job money then I still wouldn't agree with it so long as this payment processor bullshit keeps going on.

Emotional as you may be, this is a pirate website. It is labeled abandoned because it's long overdue of any significant updates from any given official source. It is either going to be good or bad, either way everyone's disappointed with how they've left everyone in the dark. The only way to avoid the Abandoned tag is to either: show the progress of updates or complete it. There's no in-between unless it gets put on hold. Though some worse cases the developer's disappearance is due to something medical or they went off to war like that one Ukrainian developer. I don't know if it is because of over-ambition or testing the patience of everyone who took the risk and supported the game proper. The fact it didn't launch in September is concerning and I don't think we'll see it this month either at this rate. I could be wrong and would like to be but... the most I would dread is if they just took the money and ran. I don't think it personally but not something I'd rule out.

False. For on-hold sure, it requires a specific statement from the dev. Abandoned tag is just website rules. Most of them get placed for either:

1 - dev didnt post anything on the billing website for over 3 months
2 - there hasn't been a new build release in over 18 months.

This is why I say the tag causes more confusion than anything. People don't know how it works and assume whoever placed it there has information on what's going on with development when they don't. Unless dev specifically states the game is abandoned, 99% of cases, the tag is placed from the rules above.

The last post from this dev was made less than 3 months ago, but before that he spent several months without saying anything. This game was supposed to have had the tag for months now, but no one reported. Mods don't go around checking every single thread. There's no automation for this. If no one says anything, it goes unnoticed.

Like I've explained just a couple pages ago. Except now it's been more than 3 months since the last patreon post, and I've decided to report this time. It's entirely possible that the game is being developed still, but between poor communication, and almost 1 year and a half of no update, I feel that enforcing the site's rules is more than justified. Specially since he already dodged the tag for months. If the update does come out, tag gets removed, simple.

There hasn't been an update yet, and by now everyone knows that you can't trust the dev when he announces something.

There will probably be another update, and that will be the final one.

It's clear that the dev is no longer interested in the game and wants to work on his new project.
