Each version has it's own patch. You can't just move the old version over. That is why the incest patches have version numbers.i know that and already put every necessary file from my 0.11 folder to the 0.12 one, thats whgy i was confused what caused this.
The drama is here more about how they deal with the fallout of what happened in the past as Martin as such. Like I said more personal drama as soap drama. Martin's death is just the start for MC to get over what happened, not the end.Nope, I get that the wholesome is why we are here. It is a wholesome harem game (as I've said before). However to me (let me repeat that: TO ME) a story needs drama to balance the wholesomeness. It's just like how you can't eat only sweets (something my 6 year old doesn't seem to understand LOL) but need something to help balance it out or make it more special. If the drama is too fleeting then the wholesome isn't as satisfying (to me). I liked the whole Martin "cloud" hanging over everything because it meant we had an "oh shit what if?" feeling even though we knew it was very unlikely that K7 was going to bring that hammer down upon the family.
The reason the Fiona/Elaine drama doesn't feel dramatic "enough" for me is that there's no chance that Elaine or Fiona will leave the family. Thus why I feel the game is winding down and there's no counter punch to the wholesome. This is the "happily ever after" moment to me. At this point the game feels more like it is just going to keep adding new girls to the game.
I have to disagree with you here.Nope, I get that the wholesome is why we are here. It is a wholesome harem game (as I've said before). I did, and my sister will won't bang me...You have to install the incest patch.
I can definitely see a scene where he finally reaches his limit and has a bit of a breakdown, requiring the efforts of his circle. The fact that he denies it so often is a bit of a Chekov's Gun.Just a side thought but it seems like the MC is the one now who might need a lot of emotional healing. Even though he says he feels nothing, speaking from experience that usually is a sign that you have been hurt the most and with everyone saying that they will be there for him or who will save him like how he saved them it feels like it isn't over for the MC completely on an emotional stand point. But I could be wrong and he just doesn't really care or feel anything.
I just don't see how that would be needed for the story, and he is not acquiring more trauma since the game began, Elaine apart, so I don't see why he would break now, maybe a minor break, crying after realizing the shit he has been through, but as it is I don't see him getting depressed and needing that much help, some, sure, but not at the point of breaking down.I can definitely see a scene where he finally reaches his limit and has a bit of a breakdown, requiring the efforts of his circle. TBH I feel his sitting in the rain after reading the will is the closest we shall see to that. As I've been told today the game isn't about the trauma it's about the healing.I just don't see how that would be needed for the story, and he is not acquiring more trauma since the game began, Elaine apart, so I don't see why he would break now, maybe a minor break, crying after realizing the shit he has been through, but as it is I don't see him getting depressed and needing that much help, some, sure, but not at the point of breaking down.
Even more cliffhangers....I'm not sure if I will do a scene like that again, but I might. There are still some repressed memories deep within MC and after his speech at the grave and his "closure" it might be time to get them out in order to let them heal. We will see what 0.13 brings I guess.
I am enjoying the bits of drama the game has had in the last few releases.I dont think this game needs more drama, it isnt the motto of the game, there was one big drama and some more small ones, and its the story about how the big drama is solved.
It can be in some way sort of logical he isn't some kind of sadist because of his past. Not everyone that has lived through something like that turns out to be the same way as they age. Plus the MC here was never physically abused but i'd say mental and emotional abuse is far worse but that still doesn't mean he would turn out to be like his father. But that's getting more into the "Real world" argument and it's just nice to have a game that is a lot more mellow and feel good. We need more of that these days, most of us anyway.I just miss the slave route in the game, there are a couple of girls in the story that deserve that route, but I reckon the MC is too good hearted for such a route. There seems to be no negative side to him, although after all he has been through it just doesn't seem logical. I am just glad I don't have to put the story together, it seems to be getting a bit more complicated and I think the next patch will make things even more complicated. Love the game, those gingers are just great.
I insert a lot of my personal experience into MC and his past and I can tell you, no matter how bad your past is/was, you can always have this mentality that you want people to only experience good stuff. If I met someone like Lucy IRL I wouldn't care about what shit things happened in my past, I would do my best to make her forget everything terrible that has happened to herI just miss the slave route in the game, there are a couple of girls in the story that deserve that route, but I reckon the MC is too good hearted for such a route. I beg to differ, but in this case I will bend to your and the Dev's reasoning. Still love the game, no matter what! When some see others abused or atleast the aftermath of said abuse it kind of takes the wind out of revenge that way (instead they chose their happiness and fulfillment as revenge), for others it fuels the sadistic need to have revenge equally abusive. Our faithful mc is a empath and definitely seems to prefer the abused being as happy as they can be as the bestest revenge.
