Another week another progress update

As some of you may have noticed, I was able to release beta 4 last week and beta 5 will be released this week. This means that a release next week is very likely. When exactly is too difficult to tell at the moment, but I'll keep you guys posted with another patreon post as soon as I know.

I think beta 4 ( or day 4, if you play 0.16 ) contains the best NSFW scene in My New Family yet. I don't want to spoil too much but you probably already know what is going to happen, I teased it a lot already. Let's just say there is more than one girl involved and it's very, very lewd. The update in general is more lewd than others, but of course the emotional and wholesome moments are still far more present than anything else.

Well, and now let's talk about My New Memories...Which you can play right now, if you want! All you have to do is join the discord and check the #alpha-faq channel. The picture you see in this news is the main menu ( though the alpha one has a little disclaimer for everyone.) The alpha contains 1/6 of the actual first public release. To be precise, you can think of it like one ingame day of My New Family. It should take you between 15 and 30 minutes to finish. If you are not on the discord yet,

I don't want this alpha to be a full public release yet, that's why I posted it on the discord only for now and I would really like to keep it that way. Wow...It's going to be difficult for me to find the right words right now. I feel like it has only been a few weeks since we broke 500 patrons...And now the biggest achievement I ever dreamed off here was reached.

1000 Patrons...This number is incredible. Over 1000 amazing people that like my work so much that they support me financially. I have to admit, this moment hit me with a lot of emotions. To realize that a little over a year ago I was starting all of this with the dream to maybe reach 100 patrons sometimes in 2020. And now that number was beat ten times.

I have to admit that I also feel a little proud. This number was reached without any 3rd party involved, without cross promotion or advertising my game everywhere I can. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with doing things like that, but getting to this level without it just feels...Wow. It's really, really difficult to put into perspective for me personally.

Especially that this goal was reached during such a terrible year for the whole world. Covid19 is still going and destroying so many lifes, forcing so many people out of their job and splitting families apart during the holidays, the time of the year where we all want to be close to each other. But this year a lot of us can't do that, we have to find alternatives to direct our minds to more pleasant things. And to think that My New Family is one of those things that brings people joy during these times made me feel better than I ever felt before.

But not only reaching this number feels wonderful...Having you amazing people as my community feels even better. I received so many messages over this year from awesome people that are going to very, very tough times. To hear from these people that my game helped them find a bit of joy again touched me, a lot. You amazing people sharing your personal experiences after playing the game and telling me that it helped you overcome those terrible memories is just...Wow.

This doesn't mean I'm not going to aim even higher. I will always keep going to bring you guys happy and wholesome moments with all of my games. Feedback for the My New Memories alpha has been outstanding and I will soon integrate it into my patreon to give you amazing people some benefits if you are pledged to me. Like I said, more news regarding that will follow soon.

Thank you guys so, so much for the incredible support. I think now that I'm done writing this I can maybe stop shedding tears of happiness after seeing the Patron numbers. I hope that the little CG I made brought a smile to your faces. Stay awesome, stay amazing and thank you again for everything!

Congratulations and well deserved. One of my top 5 HS games, and the one that seems to update most consistently. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing how this wholesome story concludes.

As some of you may have seen I released Beta 5 last week. This means that the pre-release is very, very close and that 0.16 is on a very good way. The release will be sometimes this week. I don't want to give an exact day yet, but as soon as I have one I will make another post to inform you. The public release should be this weekend, though.

My initial plan was to release it on christmas eve, but that would have meant I have to rush it, which is something I don't want to do anymore. It could be that the pre-release will be ready on the 24th, but it could also be the 25th. You will get informed beforehand, don't worry! And a little side note: Day 5 of 0.16 is probably the lewdest so far. ( I know I said that about day 4 already but I think Day 5 tops it ).

Now that doesn't mean I don't have anything to share on the 24th ( that's when we celebrate christmas in germany ). I have prepared a very special render from My New Memories and a very cute one for My New Family as well. I think you guys will like both of them!

And of course I also have some news regarding My New Memories. I made transparent versions of all the main girls in case you want to put them on banners, signatures etc. The patreon page will get revamped once I integrate My New Memories into it.

The plans for patreon are currently looking like this:

I will add another $5 tier that will give you benefits for My New Memories only. So, pre-release and beta access after Sandra tier got the beta. Then I will add a $10 tier that will give you the Lucy and the new $5 tier benefits for MNF and MNM. So, you get MNM pre release/betas etc and MNF betas/pre releases etc.

Higher tiers won't be changed. If you are a Sandra patron you will get the MNM benefits ( beta access etc ). As a harem tier supporter you can now pick between your usual 5 custom arts for MNF ( with as many characters as you want ) OR you can get one custom art with a character of your choice from My New Memories.

Now this of course only counts once the game is actually released. For now, the 0.1 will be tested further by a few people, maybe I will make it an extra for Sandra patrons or something, I'm not sure yet. But I won't monetize the game on patreon before I have an actual public release ( 0.1 ) out. And, like wtih MNF, the game will be completely free anyway ( after early access for patrons ). So, if you don't want to pledge ( or you can't afford to pledge ), don't worry! You will get to play each new release just one or two days after the patrons!

I don't know why but everytime i play through this game my stomach starts turning after you officially start dating your sister and cousin at the same time.

The only thing the patch does is change how the characters are related. Without the patch the mom is just your landlandy and the sisters are just your roommates. You won't miss any scenes if you don't have the patch.

Unless you started the game with the patch already added in which could probably mess up your saves leading to not being able to continue the game.
