this game is an absolute narrative mess.
it is, basically, "pick the top option for ever choice given, or else."
if your points aren't maxed out with every character, you get nothing.

Choose to not give mom a hug, or accept what she says when she "explains" the situation to you?
Well, now you are seemingly locked out of any relationship with Sandra. Not just in the form of sex/incest, but even in conversation. After day 2, she pretty much never says anything to you again.

Not in a relationship with Sandra? Doesn't matter what your relationship with Lucy is... you will miss Lucy content, because no relationship with Sandra apparently means Sandra doesn't exist enough, in game, for her to have a scene with his sister.

Doesn't like Fiona talking to you as if she has a gun to your head and demand that you strip for her, and so you refuse to comply?
Well, it seems you are still at her utter beck-and-call, for no reason. She has nothing on you or over you. Why the fuck do you do anything she wants?

And so many scenes start or end as if setting up for another scene that never happens, because you don't have the points.

Maddie says "yeah, your here, now we can play a game!"
Literally, her next line. "Nevermind, I don't want to play anymore."
Taking the opening to a scene and short-circuiting it like that feels unnatural. Many scenes (mary and fiona specifically) if you choose to avoid them, play out as if a sex scene happened, and was just skipped. Enough so that the dialog still feels like it hints something happened, when nothing did.

Speaking of Mary. She gives you a chance to fool around with her. If you turn her down, she acts so disappointed. Where is her self awareness?
According to the actual in-game plot, a week ago the MC was actively contemplating suicide, but figured if he were willing to go that far, fuck it, maybe give his mom a chance. Aunt knows this. Your former life is utterly gone, your back with a mother who abandoned you ages ago, and your adjusting to a new life, and a family. Does she get dialog along the lines of "I'm sorry. I've been too forward. I should have been able to see that you need stability, and to be welcomed by family, and instead I've treated you like this?"
No. She just says "I'm disappointed we won't be able to have fun together."
No empathy. Just a whore who is bored with you, now, because you didn't play her game.

Maddie is the same. Seems great up until you tutor her. Then you have the option to whip it out at her demand, or no. Choose no, and she barely has two things to say to you after that, just gives you nasty looks, and is seemingly gone from the story.

At this point, I'm thinking that the creator made a huge mistakje making a game, instead of a kinetic novel, because it is utterly apparent that there is no diverging story lines, and no choices that matter. Either do everything the game wants you to do (pick the top choice) and see the story, or pretend the MC is an actual character and try to react differently in different situations, and basically be told "oh well, you fucked up. I have no scenes planned if you choose this, so we'll just go back to the main menu now."

Oh, for the sake of it?
I still have no fucking clue who Yvonne is. She is just thrown into the game and I'm told I already met her, and I seem nervous about her presence, despite the fact the cafe is the first meeting.
And I STILL think that your mom's story is full of shit. And even if it isn't you should have the choice to not believe her. Instead your choice is "believe her," or "do nothing" (in which the MC just thinks "wow, maybe I should have said something," and it implies he still believes her.)

Why is any chance at anything with each character dependent on having the maximum score with them, at all times, and anything less than maximum is essentially 0?
Why is any game option (in a game about a depressed, almost suicidal young man who is trying to piece his life together) that isn't the obvious "my life is a porno!" choice, the WRONG choice?
Why can I not choose who I want to romance/fuck, without it damaging my story line with other characters?

And if there is ONE AND ONLY ONE correct path through the game, that is so strict that the game creator interjects SEVERAL TIMES telling to to start over and pick "all the top choices" to really advance, then why make it a game?

Killer7, it is obvious you don't have a complex, branching narrative for us. You have a singular story that has one beginning, one end, and no turns in the road.
So, why go through the difficulty of making this a game, and why not just do it as a long form kinetic novel? It is painfully clearthat you don't want us to click the bottom choice, or seek any diverging story. So just... don't give us the option to. I'd have a lot less to bitch about if the pretense of this being a game with choice was removed.

edit: and who the fuck is Melissa?
With lucy on the beach, pass out, have a nightmare, wake up and tell her about it, and it seems to make sense to Lucy and the MC, but not to me. Who is Melissa? I have had ZERO interaction with whoever that person is.

Facepalm all you like, Dev, but come on. Your game is a mess. Who are these people? Why am I supposed to know who they are?
How about you develop some sort of skill set make your own game and I can take a crap on it after 5 seconds of ignored playthrough?

You choose to ignore most of the posts that say hey I am working on the harem route because that's what most people enjoy and when its done I'll work on individual routes later type posts that have been made give yourself a facepalm later.... on second thought don't my emotes are too good for you.

If you do not enjoy a game that's fine but to take a massive crap at it like you did here is unnecessary entirely and that's all you did I am kind of wondering if you are a remade profile of a former person that got reported for some unnecessary stuff in this thread/reviews prior with the way you are acting seems very very similar if that's the case and I could be wrong then you should be ashamed making a new profile and building it up just to do this.

I haven't had the time to play this since 0.16 and I need to but everything I have played to that point I enjoyed the story the various characters their back stories what they went through where they are now I have enjoyed greatly and will continue to enjoy.

Thank you Killer for your work and thank you to those who have helped you get to where you are!

Killer7 Tired of some unofficial scoundrels constantly ruining your game with the patches, so you decided to turn on the Infinity Keyboard and do it yourself, eh?

Hello there you very wonderful people!

Like last month I'm going to give you guys a little update on My New Memories today. Since the real progress update will be on monday, like usual, you can see this one as something for My New Memories only. And as you can see, the start menu has changed a bit!

Well, let's start with the good news ( don't worry, there are no bad news ): The first release of My New Memories is now fully completed! Everything has been tested and fixed and the game is pretty much ready for release. Sandra tier patrons will get the chance to play this weekend! Lucy patrons, you will get to play early next week ( Monday maybe ) and the public release will also be sometimes next week!

But the distribution of My New Memories will be a bit different compared to My New Family. For reasons that I can't and won't explain here, there won't be any download links here on Patreon. The only way to get the game ( at least for patrons ) will be through discord. So, kinda like the alpha, just that this will be a permanent thing for My New Memories. Once the public release is available for everyone you will be able to download it from the usual places - Like for example, for free. Please don't ask why I'm doing it like this, I have my reasons that I'm not going to share!

The steam release will probably be the same as the general public release, so sometimes next week. Lucy patrons, you will also get a little headstart next week. After this I will hopefully have something figured out regarding the new patreon tiers. If you are a Sandra patron right now you should be good though, you will most likely get the same beta access for My New Memories like you are getting for My New Family. I will update the patreon page in the following days, hopefully. But you can already see the very amazing new banner!

So reminder, if you are a Sandra patron and want to play the My New Memories 0.1 release this weekend, join the ! Discord is free and an account is really easy to setup. All you have to do is register and then Link your Discord and Patreon account !

I can't wait to share My New Memories with all of you amazing people. It has been a very long way to this release, a way that I only was able to go because of each and everyone of you that support me!

Thanks again Kytronix for sharing that here. So excited oh yeah

What's a melonpan?
A melonpan is a type of sweet bun originating from and popular in Japan, as well as Taiwan and China. They are made from an enriched dough covered in a thin layer of crisp cookie dough. Their appearance resembles a melon, such as a rock melon.
it's also the username of a super degenerate on twitter(?) i think, if he's still on there. could be another social media.
learned of him though some shit posts on a discord server i was in. shortly after i asked a local church for an exorcism despite not being religious. (last parts a joke)

there's a possibility she plays this game herself considering some degens like melonpan and his daughter exist.

I'm in chapter 3 and not sure how far into game that is, but want to know if you don't romance someone do they disappear from the game or events? I decided I didn't want to romance Lucy. I viewed her from my interactions as my little sister I needed to protect, help and bring out of her shell. She missed having a big brother to protect her and help her from the bullying. That seemed to be my role and I was good with it. Even though I picked the gentle choices it didn't seem like any were romantic, just bringing her out of her isolation, talking about life, complimenting her and getting to know her. Of course I did the revenge plot to bring closure to her traumatic experience in school. So, when I didn't declare my love for her she has kinda disappeared, I get the "oh, if I didn't mess up with Lucy she could be here" dialogue. So, no more conversations with Lucy, no doing activities, etc. She's just a footnote to the game now?

There are other girls I have no interest in like Alice. She just seems to child like to me in both appearance and personality. Not sexually attractive in that regard. I have no interest in her as a lover, just helping her to adjust which seems to be the direction the mc takes for everyone...to help them to be happy. Are the ones I don't show romantic or sexual interest in also going to just become ghosted in the game? Getting the same comment that if I didn't mess up I could be doing activities with them?

Yes, you will miss a lot of events and there will probably parts of the game where you will feel "gaps".

The route being developed and that wont feel like stuff is missing is the full Harem, so if i were you i would restart and accept everyone, specially Sandra of course, Lucy, Becca and Alice, since there is a recurring event at night where they will be appearing and are like the "core" of the Harem

As someone who has literally never managed to actually reject any of the girls in this game (I sometimes start a playthough thinking "I'll go without X this time" but by the time I actually get to that choice I always click the top choice like some kind of automaton) I'd honestly encourage you to just go for all of them. As K7 says during the preamble before you really start the game, the full harem route has the most content atm. Maybe things'll get better on that front after the game is done, but IDK.

In terms of Lucy and Alice, they really come into their own as LIs later during their paths, so I'd reccommend giving them a chance.

Also, chapter 3 is maybe 1/3 of the game? there are currently 16 chapters (iirc) but the later chapters are shorter than the first few both in terms of days covered and in terms of total events.
