Yeah... I'm just trying to do what I can with the prequel and also My New Family 2, but it's still kinda sad that I basically didn't release anything this whole year ( at least for the public ). The only thing I managed to release was the demo, everything else was last year. Hopefully things will get better once the first release of the prequel is out, though.

I dont know what the error is, but you dont really need a walkthrough mod for this game, just click the top answer for everything EXCEPT the second test segment with Maddie, for those if you dont know the answer just look it up

Hello there you wonderful and very cute people!
Let's jump right into the games ( which usually means I still didn't hear anything new...And I'm getting angrier and angrier at the stupid justice system here. I know my case is nothing special, sadly, because it seems like a lot of people that have been investigated for shit by the cops had to wait over a year to get their shit back )
The script for the next prequel day is now more or less done. This last event has been something I have been struggling with for a while, because it was difficult to me to figure this out. I'm going to try to explain this without spoiling too much. Basically, the last event of this "day" will happen after your date with Rei, if you decided to go that way with her. During the date and if you are on a certain route with Lea, the MC will feel something that is weirdly related to her, which probably means that Sabrina is talking to her in that moment. If you remember, the MC and Sabrina sometimes share their emotions, especially during strong moments. So when he comes back from his date he is surprised that both of them are still awake. Lea has a pretty serious expression on her face and wants to talk to the MC about something that has been on her mind since...Well, since the truth or dare game, if you played the demo. Let's just say that everything that followed after that just gave her more fuel for thoughts and now she finally had the courage to tell Sabrina. It's probably going to be the first time I have ever done this in any of my games and I really hope I can pull it off, but with doing it this way it will explain so many things in the main game, especially regarding the relationship between the MC and Sabrina. I know I sound super vague here, but it's also about something very very lewd involving the cute ginger... And maybe the green eyed beauty? You know what happened in the main game, so it's not going to be that right away. But...Let's just say that Lea shares similar feelings to Anna when it comes to the MC and his household. You amazing supporters will know what I mean this month and I can't wait to hear your feedback regarding what I have planned. Todays render is Katharina who will have a rather funny talk with the MC in the living room before they go to the pool.
I guess I got a bit of a creative spark again thanks to the stuff mentioned above. I want to take a deeper dive into certain lewd regions with some of the girls and I have something in mind regarding Lena. If you remember, for Chapter 4 I decided to rewrite some of her earlier dialogues to make her not appear as "hostile" or I should say, "less hideful" with certain things, if that is even a word. The main plot with Yukiko will still be there, of course, but all the other things will be a bit more toned down. I'm not doing this just to make people like her more, I also think that her earlier dialogues made her come off a little more hostile than I intended. Anyway, if you remember the date you had with her in the café, she is starting to think about certain things a different way. Now that Anna is awake it will be even more like that for her. I want Lena to be a little bit like Maddie in MNF, where she has her little tsundere moments but also the moments where she just wants to be a buffed little princess, if that makes sense. I mean, there is a reason she mentioned a cute little blonde girl doing amazing yoga stuff, right? Lena will still be Lena of course, but I think it makes sense that certain characters share similarities with my other games ( Sandra and Anna, for example ). They are still unique, but give you a hint of familarity. And I think that's very good.
I also plan to make a few more lewd renders this week that are autumn themed, I'm currently brainstorming a few ideas. Stay tuned for that, like I said, not all of them will be just for supporters only, I will also post them for all the followers!

MNF is still one of my all time favorite games, I love Lucy so much. Anyhow was on Discord looking for renders and such that i might have missed and there are so many good ones. They made me miss my gingers so bad that now I have to start my 5th playthrough.
Hope all those investigative issues sort out soon for you (and us). Can never get enough of "My New... ".

Hello there you wonderful and extremely cute people!
Another week, another progress update!
Let's jump right into the games again! There is nothing new to share again, sadly, but I'll have something to say regarding the whole situation soon. I just want to clarify a few things that have been gathering again lately regarding "Just remake the characters" etc. But not today. There is also some things I want to talk about regarding MNF2 soon.
Okay, game talk time.
I'm happy to announce that the script for the next prequel update is completed and is currently being checked by my proofreader, Beege. This means that I will most likely be done with all the renders this week as well, which makes a release on the weekend very very likely. I actually don't have to make that many renders anymore since I prepared decently enough, so I can 100% keep my promise with releasing the next update this month. The end of this update will probably surprise some of you, but I think in a good way. I really need your feedback once you can play it, so don't hesitate to yell at me if you think I've done it bad. Anyway, todays render is Lea and Sabrina in the famous pool, a scene that is wholesome and funny, especially since they know that he will join Katharina in the sauna soon...They know about his crush on her, after all. Still, this whole event gives you some very interesting info regarding Lea and what she means to the MC. She offers him something that he greatly accepted later when he moved away with Anna, for example, and I feel like adding little things like this will make the main game even more enjoyable once I can work fully on it again. But yeah, I'm super happy that I was finally able to finish the script for this day, it took me waaaaay too long and I'm really really sorry about that. I just hope the wait was worth it in the end, but you can be the judge for that!
Since I only have to do the renders for the next prequel update, I was writing a lot for the main game as well. After the great feedback I got regarding the Morgan event in Chapter 3 ( the one in the mexican restaurant and in the park ), I feel like she needed one of those moments with the MC again. Now that he has his memories back they can talk freely about things she usually doesn't like to share when Anna or anyone else is around, at least when you are on the trans route with her. It's going to be more on the emotional and cute side, since the MC has always been the one person she relied on the most during difficult times. That's why Morgan is probably the happiest of them all that he has his memories back, since this means they can continue like they did before. And as you might remember, Sarah said a few things regarding that as well and...Well, Sarah will also be someone they'll talk about. Let's just say Morgan has a pretty good instinct to see when something is going on in the household and she observed the MC and Sarah pretty closely these last few weeks. I wonder what she could mean with all the things she's going to say, though...

I think the statement "Just remake the characters" is pretty wild.
1. time expenditure: If I'm not mistaken, all but 2 characters are affected by the current situation and would have to be redone accordingly, which would be a huge loss of time.
2. appearance: Even if it were an option, I think it would be quite hard to make the characters look 1:1 like they did in the current VN.
3. resources: I'm not sure how correct this is, but I see a risk here that CNG would have to buy the resources for the characters again, which would also be relatively expensive.
Overall, I think Killer7 made the right decision with the prequel. And the general tenor of the feedback confirms my assumption.

Got 2 questions:
1. Routes in this game realy inconsistent: don't say Maddie about past- still go to gym, say her about Alice- got Lucy event like we're friends with her, wasn't overly friendly to Sandra- on carnival we're couple. Do my choices even matter outside sex scenes or i got harem ending no matter what ? I know making every variant for every scene is too much work, but can i realy avoid certain routes ?
2. Why mc apologize to Alice about his behavior ? Am i miss something ? He may not friendliest guy in the world but how else he must act toward complete stranger ? He wasn't that cold, was he ?

There aren't really "routes" in this VN, choose the top answer if you wanna get with the girl in the future, choose bottom if you dont.
I cant remember what exactly he said, I dont think he was overly rude, but he should still apologies for being rude in the first place. His half sister shows up and he acts all cold towards her for (from her perspective) no reason, he wants to have a good relationship with her and not apologizing there would be a bad start. Plus his entire family are those really nice types who cant stand to see people sad, so it would make sense that they would want the MC to try to make Alice less sad by apologizing , if that makes any sense.

My New Memories is one of my favorite games, yet when I played this one I didn't like so much.
It starts more slow or if I didn't the first parts I probably won't like?
I do plan on finishing it nonetheless, but depending on answers I may prioritize it over other games

This was K7's first game so it starts out a little rocky (I still enjoy the early parts, it's just that the improvement is obvious).
Would fully recommend playing all the way through.
