Literally no one was arguing that. If you had been paying attention, we've all been pretty fucking clear that they have feelings. Even the people who have you on block because you been so obstinate.

So much so that the developer told you to knock it off and stop playing the game because you couldn't fathom or grasp that you were in fact wrong about your opinion that you've treated as fact.

I'd stop arguing if people stopped trying to make me out to be the bad guy, as though I'm saying something untrue and trying to misrepresent Sumo's story or doing logical cartwheels to make the story fit my own interpretation. In the words of another Disney heroine, Mrs Incredible, "I will not be made the enemy here."

As I said to killer, just be the bigger man and walk away. Ultimately, it doesn't even matter who's right or who's wrong, especially since you keep arguing for the same thing using different words. Since Sumo reiterated that Nikki isn't a love interest several pages ago, I have accepted that and haven't tried to say that she is. I have hypothesised how someone can become one, but mostly I've been pointing out that having feelings for someone doesn't make them a love interest, and I have never said otherwise despite what you might think.

Yes, I do think one of the problems is the way this story as been written as it leaves room for a lot of interpretation and it's easy to see how people think there's a future for them based on how things have gone so far.

Sumo was right that they shouldn't have said at the beginning that they won't end up together because the way a lot of this story has gone makes it seem like they might and it's given people false hope.

I can easily see Sumo adding an in-game option to start a serious relationship with Nikki.

If you go for this option, you will get a bad ending (Think about the early peeping scene, or the action hero scene) with a final 4th wall breaking "I told you so" message & a pic of Ava laughing...

It's really not as emotional as some manstraters are making out. Funniest thing on here imo. As for the end it hasn't finished yet but pretty sure the MC will end up happy with someone.
