I think we’ve established that some people actually don’t want a game in their porn game.

Too bad I can’t play this right now, as I don’t currently have access to a windows machine where I’m able to install software.

Let’s hope any eventual Mac OS release isn’t like Man of the House where Steam now recommends against buying it due to it not supporting any of the new OSes from a year or two ago onwards.

Have you tried a windows emulator, like WINE or Virtual Box?

Pretty much. They want a VN with a walkthrough so they will make the optimal choice at each step. It already exists, it's called "Kinetic Novel", there's a few around here.

I mean I think we've all been there: renders look great, the "abstract" of the game is promising, reviews are getting in 5 stars with actual quality promised - but there's this one tag that would kill it for us. Whether it's the infamous NTR or what have you. Happens with non-adult games as well. Great reviews, deep story, but it's a shooter, or an open world, or whatever else I hate. So the game just isn't for me.

Really, why go for these things just for the girls (or boys, or furry animals)? Nobody watches boring movies and TV series just because that one actress or actor is hot, or do they?

Tried sin or sun city? I always forget exact name, there are more management games out there and most sandbox games do have management features as well, even if less obvious. There are also a few space ones though those tend to be more direct sex related with bad visuals, some better developed trainer games are actually management games, there is lab rats 2. Also one medieval game that start with kingdoms, but not seen the game for a while

I for myself will likely have a look at the normal version when further along, I do not mind some management but would be mostly there for the story and action, the sex with girls, the incest and so on and same goes with many if not most of the players I suspect.

Not for micro managing who is where and when for hours in a row with which item and for those players there will be easy and normal mode. Now question will be how easy and normal will be compared to current game, if for example all energy requirements on girls will be taken out, might have an extra one or two employees that you can use as jokers while have no story impact or just exp and satisfying customers will be much easier is something we will see when those modes are implemented.

While for those that love the management there will be hard mode and who knows if Faerin feels like it an ultra hard mode. Management for many will just be a way to progress through the game until story bits or even suffer through and not the goal as such, for some others the management will be something they derive pleasure from in itself.

I agree balancing is hard and takes time, that is exactly my point as well and why it is better for the moment to just let Faerin work and not try the game for now if you do not really enjoy that management part. In that case game as is is too grindy (Not hard per se when understand the mechanics, just too grindy) for the other content there yet and even when looked at it a few months ago too grindy overall without cheats. Now that will not stay that way, but game is still being developed and not there yet. Whether that will mean everyone will agree in the end that easy mode will be easy enough or hard hard enough is another question for then.

There will also be a story mode, once it is done, where you can more or less ignore the game part, or something like that, for the people who are not into that, but I don't know how that will work in the end yet. Probably won't be too many more updates before we get to that point though.

They do that last trust me and then are disappointed. Been there with one of my exes that had to watch any movie of a certain actress whatever the review said or whether she liked those type of movies in first place.

I considered it, but decided I don’t want to get a windows license and split out the hd space just for Faerin’s two games

Are you using the cheat mod? if so the problem is generated by it.

lol at Day 21 I was at 75/360 for level 2.
I'm pretty sure that, if it took me 21 days to complete level 1, it took me more than that to complete level 2 and 3...
