I like this game, or the idea of it but...Is there even any sex in this game and if so, how do you get there? Spending hours doing the same thing over and over again with no hint of how to progress is very dull. If i wanted to play a hotel management game I wouldn't look in the incest category, i'm sorry to say. Either give some hints on how to progress on the physical aspects or speed up the process. I just played the first 10 or 11 days and either I'm doing it very wrong or this games takes place in almost real time...Hints, advice, a guide, something please!

If you've played MoTH, which I'll assume you haven't, going by your post, then you should realise that the game could be describe as a "slow burner", meaning that the characters take time to develop in-game, and also that it's not a "wham, bam, thanky-you ma'am" game. There's no jumping into the characters knickers right from the off in this game, or in M.o.T.H for that matter. You have to develop your relationship with every one of them, and that takes time.
Faerin has even said that he wants to reduce the grind in the game

I haven't touched the management aspect at all this update (as stated in the changelog) and have recently put up a poll addressing some of the issues you mentioned.
The dialogs for the guests will get a big overhaul (hopefully) making them more interesting and substantial and being able to skip them once you have completed them once successfully...or at least, that's the plan.

There will be more girls to hire and ways to increase income, but the game is still in an early stage and I wanted to focus on content for this update, because ironically enough, people asked for that when I was focusing on gameplay (welcome to the life of a dev).

That being said, I do agree on the grind and if there's one thing that I'm dead set on with this game it's preventing it from turning into a grindfest.
The thing is: it just takes a lot time to develop a game like this and as I can only do so much each update.

Sadly I'm not as proficient as @pgice (btw are you for hire? I'd love to work with you, you sound amazing!)

Hopefully in the next 1-2 updates I'll be able to tackle this part of the game and improve it.

You'll need to be patient, and if you are then you'll get your "just rewards", but it will take a little time. As I said, from the sound of your post, you haven't played MoTH, and this isn't a criticism, do yourself a favour and play it. It's well worth it, and when you've played it then you'll get the idea of what can be achieved in this game, as you need to improve your own stats, as well as the characters within the game to advance, and "unlock" the required scenes.
If however you have played MoTH, then you should know how the game will unfold, and develop, as the game progresses.

Kudos to Faerin too.
He's developing this game on his own, and that takes time, and listening to the feedback from people who are playing the game, as for giving updates, he's doing this and explaining the "five W's" [who, what, where, when, and why]

I for one am happy with how the game is developing, and even if the game currently has a bit of a grind to it, it's all part and parcel of how the game is played at present, then that's what we have to deal with for now.

i have indeed played MotH and I thought it was pretty good. Maybe that was developed further when i started playing it, i don't remember now. And I'm not looking for straight up f**king from day one, just the kind of small rewards that lead you on and gives you 'hope' for a brighter future
Thanks for the guide, though. I'm quite sure it will help me enjoy it more. I like the idea of the game and maybe, for someone like me, what i should do is simply give Faerin time to develop it further before i try it again.

If you look under the Quit button there is a warning in red writing that I can see from your screenshot, you have either tried to play the game from inside the Rar file in which case you need to unpack it, or you have unpacked the game in a place where you don't have permissions if that's the case move the whole game folder to your desktop

pres play game don`t go to restaurant where is guest but jump here and i can`t do anything can`t exit game !!!

Do you have a save before this happens as it looks like a bug and we are trying to track it down

The bar event for Amber was finally recorded. It didn't work when I answered the middle option (Not angry, but still firm), but it did for the first option (let it be). I included several saves where you might be able to see the difference. I also did find the well.

The game has a lot of potential. It's well written with an interesting supernatural vibe. But it does load scenes and moves slowly adding to the perception of grind.

everytime I download this game, I get a black screen when starting the game. it has the border, dialog, and fog, but nothing else. not even the cards Isabella gives the mc.

But still, at some point, the engine is gonna be developed enough to use old saves, even with new updates, right?

gamefolder\profile - whatever you named your profile.. just copy the profile folder over to the new version of the game

I'm sure these suggestions have already been mentioned but just in case Faerin does happen to look around I would primarily mention one thing (in two parts). The transition for the most part is fine, the only two spots I find frustrating are repeatedly seeing staff you aren't checking on doing stuff "I can't believe ---- is making me clean", or while they are on break. Obviously the second, is the satisfaction/influence level (w/e it is called) after achieving something such as cooking for them. The gear cogs moving is just fine to me, it's quick enough and sounds and looks nice. Otherwise loving the game, just that bar going to 55/60 of 100 is painful. Cheers.

After you've unzipped the file, place it in the main folder.
Also from what I can gather it only works when the game is set to "Normal" and is a new game and the cheat "Menu" will then be unlocked?
Give it a go and see what happens.

I'm using my old saves for the new update. You have to tag and drag the file folder of what you named the MC in profile file folder from the old version to the new version.

He won't go back to MotH for now. Right now he focus on Mystwood Manor only.

The dev isn't revisiting the completed game anytime soon; the clue is in the word "completed"
