Which graphics card are you using? Needs to be able to run DX10.
You also need 2GB VRAM, minimum, on your GPU. 4GB recommended.
PC needs minimum 4GB RAM.
Non of that is required. Who come up with this bullshit?

All he has to do is to uninstall all Visual C++ version higher as 2015 and install VC++ 2015 (x86) first. Nothing else.

Do you have an old nVidia card? like 9600 or 9700 series or GT300 series? if so the only thing you can do is disable your video card from device manager so the game will run into software mode, because there isn't anything else that works.

Try reading the pdf attached in the FAQ. System requirements are clearly written there.
Then go talk to Sycho about the, so called, "bullshit".
I think he knows what he's talking about.

We've seen this happen to people with old GPUs that only have 1GB of RAM.
So it's not "bullshit" at all.
Thanks though.
The system recommend was made up based on testers and Sycho's old system. There is no benchmark that supports the recommandation.

The problem with old GPUs are the drivers that don't support DX10 anymore, however switching over to Vulkan might work too.

The problem so far, non of the guys are interested to try it for a simple porn game.

I disabled the Nvidia driver. The game started, but with lags.
Enabled the Nvidia driver - the game does not start.
I'm using GTX 970
What to do? ))

Can you go into Control Panel >> Device Manager >> Display adapters please and provide a screenshot of that? Also, please provide a copy of your player log as well. You can find the log by using the Windows + R keys, paste the following: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Faerin Games\Mystwood Manor then click OK.

Latest available driver for his card is from 2014! I'm wondering if switching to Vulkan driver could fix the issue for him.

I'm not familiar with Nvidia cards at all, so I'm not sure. The specs look fine though, that's for sure.

The log you attached looks incomplete to me and the screenshot you provided is fine, so there's nothing you need to do there. What I would suggest is moving your game folder from:
D:/Mystwood Manor v0.7.0.9/Mystwood Manor v0.7.0.9
to D:/Mystwood Manor v0.7.0.9

Then see if you have the same issue. Also, another thing you could try is disabling G-Sync in the Nvidia Control Panel.

GTX 970 driver is updated few days ago, not 2014.
My post was based on a wrong assumption resulting from a quick google search:

Checking Nvidia's websites shows that there are indeed newer drivers available. My bad.

It's a known problem that it will fixed in this month release.
This happens because you have failed with that guest last time he/she was in your hotel

Looking at the image, it seems like the driver from 2014 was one of the first, for that generation of "New" GPU.
GTX 970 only came out in September, that year.
I'm wondering why G- and Fast-Sync cause this issue with Faerin's games.

Here is a post from MotH-thread:
Aha! I seem to have figured it out. I knew I already had G-Sync disabled globally, but when I opened Profile Inspector to double-check my settings, I noticed that I had Fast Sync enabled on my global profile. Switched that off and the videos seem to play fine.

First time I've ever run into an incompatibility with that setting. Thanks for the suggestions.
