Looks very promising. That surely would be more immersive. Considering the base game is already quite good, this effect should be multiplicative.

This is a TERRIBLE basis for a porn game. In general, porn is something people want maximum agency over.

Actually, savescamming and backroll-scamming capacity solves that. You didn't like what did your roll lead to? Roll back the events with a mouse wheel and see these unfold in a new way. That way, instead of making a whole new run in hopes everything will roll exactly like it was except for a few things, you're exploring the possibilities. This is fun in some cases (like finding some last rare occurences), as well.

In the new version, since it's less focused on the rougelike aspect of it, I should probably make blocking rolling back decisions an option instead of a base mechanic. So if you want to play in ironwoman mode you can, but aren't forced too.

That brings us to why I put Naked Ambition on hold. I'll be honest, the storm of negativity about this game makes it hard to get motivation to work on it but that's not really the fundamental reason. The reason is that working on it feels kind of like a waste now that Clothed Ambition is basically a certainty. I wouldn't call the TF Card Battle -> The Monster Within conversion a huge financial success, but it wasn't a failure (and it's not out of early access until the end of the month, maybe it will make lots of money in the end). But it's way more of a success then it would have been if I had just made the SFW game first with no association to the porn one. So here I am with a game that has lots of writing, art, and a unique gameplay system that fulfills my goals fairly well but is anathema to the pornographic element.

It's a pity to hear you're not having a good time making the game. I consider it your best content, and I hope you'll make more games in the same vein.

I really really enjoyed playing and replaying Naked Ambition. not knowing what I might get can be enlightening(although at part frustrating as I want to pursue certain targets) BUt overall i enjoyed the mystery as well the sexy bits of the game. The card game functions is really unique. I get that many people probably just want to get into the porn side and get on with it but people like me enjoys the unpredictability of the mechanics as it turns out more rewarding.

There's a bunch of new random events that are pretty much done, but I don't want to take the game off hiatus until I'm sure I can get content out regularly again, which should be pretty soon.

Thank you for the quick reply. It's one of my favorite games. I always look forward to it. Right now I'm working on the bandit path and I'm anxious to see what happens next. I've got most of the paths in the game going, but this one has piqued my interest.

Naked Ambition-32 is for 32 bit operating systems. Unless you're sure your OS is old and not 64 bit, don't use it.

When you give the princess advice at the weekends pick the option that gives her a white card to gain 2 reliance, blue card also gains 1 reliance.

Moods do decay overtime however, they move 1 closer to zero every turn they aren't interacted with. The important thing is just making sure your desired mood is higher than the others, so try to avoid options that give too much of other moods, like red cards and black cards.

Here's a suggestion - don't make content someone detest basically unskippable/RNG to avoid or punishign the player for avoiding it.

I'm taking the entire brother feminization thing. If you want to avoid you have to spend every week removing the whisper card, and you get a new one(losing card mergings in the process). It's like you're trying to force the player into it. The constant repeats are annoying. Losing weeks of cards is far too steep a cost. When I reached this poin it made me want to delete the game and use plenty swear words here.

As if losing the inquisitor (basically impossible to get him if you get Cecily as tutor, especially since Faith is so heavily nerfed, but so is Lore so you have a harder time with 3 coucilors), you're basically making it so that avoiding that content makes the game FAAAR harder or next to impossible. And if your reply is that Cecily route is easier if you go trough with the hole sisification thing, then that's a terrilbe answer. You are hard-tying fetishes together.

I urge you to reconsider some of the design decisions made. Give the player a choice, don't do inifnite repetition until the player fails. Give Cecily better tutor stats in Lore, possibly knowledge?

This sounds like you started the "feminization" route without realizing it and are upset there is no way of escaping it. If you don't want to enter the feminization route you only need to get rid of 2 green cards at most when Cecily is first trying to attune Collette to her demon magic. Not drawing the green cards will either place you in the "love" or "lust" routes with Cecily that do not involve the green cards or any feminization content.

However if you already entered the feminization route, you will be given a green card everytime you fail to draw one to progress the route. This is not meant to be something you are supposed to fight against by continuing to discard green cards for the rest of the game, this is meant to help people that actually want to progress the route by giving them more green cards so they don't fail the draw.

Maybe the dev could place an option to "halt" progress on Cecily's quest if the player entered the "green card" route but doesn't want to progress it once they know it is about feminization, just something that stops her from adding more green cards to your deck so you can still play out the rest of the run and pursue one of the councillors without being hampered by the continued addition of green cards, but if you wanted to check the rest of Cecily's content you just need to reset to back before the branching point and set things up so you go down one of the other routes.

I'm pretty sure that if you want Cecily as your tutor you are meant to not bother with Gales at all, it is pointless to try to impress him since he will hate you for it, you should focus on the other councillors you can flip, hence why Faith and Lore gains are nerfed. Him flipping his vote in the feminization route is a neat bonus and it makes sense in the story, but to progress the feminization route you need to add green cards to your deck which makes your deck weaker since they are useless for generic draws. Maybe it is not perfectly balanced but the feminization route is most certainly not pure advantage over the other two.

I do agree that maybe for balance reasons Cecily could give better training on the stats of the other councillors that also care about faith and lore, those being Normand and Filbert, as a way of making up for the fact you will struggle more to meet part of their requirements.
