"Sorry, guys. I'm trying to create a GUI by myself. I'm completely incapable in this regard. Right now, I'm adding some pop-ups that appear during conversations so that the player can see the stats of the person they're talking to. I believe it's extremely useful. It takes a while to create them, to make each screen with the correct stats. Making it visually appealing will take even longer. For now, I'll settle for getting it done. Then I'll focus on the basic GUI to show the day of the week, how much money the protagonist has, and a couple of other things. Once I'm finished and the game's appearance is at least decent, I'll be able to share it. At the moment, the game is almost free of bugs (I'd say bug-free, but I don't want to jinx myself). As soon as there are things on the screen that vaguely enhance the gaming experience, I'll release the new version."

Nov 13th patreon post: "I have people helping me fix the bugs, WE are refining the GUI, and optimizing certain aspects of the game." Did something change and people are no longer helping you with the GUI, or was it "we" in the royal sense? It's tough to get a handle on things when you keep changing your statements, just saying..

"Some people have given me a big hand with the bugs and typos in the variables. As for the GUI, someone came forward, but then disappeared, so I'm moving forward on my own. This game doesn't generate any money at the moment, so anyone helping me is doing it purely out of passion and enjoyment. Hence, I can't approach people I barely know, only through chat, and force them to do work for which they won't be paid. If in the future the game generates 10k a month, I'll be happy to have a team helping me, and surely the releases will be more organized. I apologize if my posts confuse you between 'me,' 'us,' 'she/her,' 'they,' 'it.'"

Your general use of pronouns is not my problem nor is it confusing, the use of "we" when you meant "I" was.

It seems very loose and misleading to claim in your official patreon post that WE are working on the GUI and "please bear with me a little longer" when you've only been approached about help with the GUI and in fact received none.
My issue is accoutability and reliability since that has been your recurring problem over the last 2-2,5 years.
Clear enough? Cheers

After your posting of several comments droning on about various shortcomings of the dev, I would submit the following:

nitpicking
A process of finding or pointing out tiny details or errors, particularly if the pointed-out details seem insignificant or irrelevant to all but the finder.

If it was concerning another dev who didn't share HGs checkered past I'd agree. Here I feel it's 100% warrented since it's indicative of his previous missbehaviours and it should be called out. Cheers

you are talking about someone with 7 well 6 i mean 5 completed games under his belt, his only mistake ever made was to listen to some whiners about animations, i guess we could call it back and claim it was when he changed to ren´py but i enjoy ren´py !

his strong point is in making stories that are wacky and somewhat believable at the same time so!
if not for animations the game would have been done in an heartbeat!
so your point of view is mute when we look at the reality for what it is
its those same complaints and requests that ruined the delivery schedule!
and i still need Martina in my Life, nasty bitches are the best!

Let's just say we've very different views on what happened the last 3 years and how HG has conducted himself.

"The issue with animations and graphic quality was real; it wasn't just the comments that urged me to redesign the game's appearance. The rebuild wasn't only due to the renders; there were storylines poorly constructed, making it difficult to trigger certain paths that I believe are very interesting. Others weren't exploited enough (you'll see with this rebuild what I mean; for instance, Martina, Kirsten, and other stories will have a different and more intriguing development).

Furthermore, the fact that maybe I give too much weight to comments is true, but my mind is always full of ideas, and reading comments and suggestions is very stimulating. The mistake was plunging into such an ambitious project, with so many characters to develop without having done an "intermediate" one before. However, delving so much into the characters was a natural progression.

Snake Thompson (last completed game) had many characters but not much depth. With this game (including Part 1), I created more characters, and to differentiate them, I had to delve deeper into their backgrounds. Now, it's clear to me that I should have kept a maximum of about ten female characters and delved deeper into them instead of having 30 and needing to deepen them all forcibly.

As Guru used to say, 'Experience is the best teacher.'"

Hi man thanks for still spend time for your game ❤
I have one question.
Are you gonna continue the pornstar path
And convince more girls to try porn in new coral city?
My opinion is that porn shootings with more innocent girls turn completely sluts its the hottest think in your game
Thank you ❤

Must resist redownloading this until the new version is out, haha.

if the game is "active" again (in the sense we getting progress updates and such) why does it still have an "abandoned" tag

and the last release was a shit show, some beta tester released it before the bugs were fixed...
in the dudes defense... it was an alpha version not beta, alphas have major bugs to iron out,
beta´s are bug hunting so nothing that jumps at you from the get go!
