This issue was resolved on this thread for hundred times(im not trying to be toxic), you can scroll and find how to fix it, i forgot how i did it,
i think there are two versions of the game(both are 1.07), one has that bandit bug at start but better translations, and other doesnt, and has different translations, you will probably have to download the other game thats not buggy, and if you like translations from this one, you can copy paste Sharedassets0 or 1(i cant remember exact file) from working game to yours now and fix the game, the bug happens only on bandit level as far as i know...

Just wait, by tomorrow there'll probably be another person asking about the same issue.
I remember there was a translation that was much better than the machine provided by the downloadable game. Could anyone pinpoint me to that post in this thread? Don't know how to search.

The better translation IS the one from the first page in this thread. And it's also the one with a diary bug. The link I posted RIGHT ABOVE YOUR POST, is a link where you can get the non-bugged version (with a worse translation), and it also has instructions on how to import the better translation from the better translated version into a worse-translated one, thus creating a version with a better translation, but without the diary bug.
рGuys what costumes exist in this game and how to get them? And who else can get pregnant? except purple slime

To be fair, I don't think that there is an actual GOOD translation for this game yet. The one on the first page is overall the best one, yes, but it still has the same classic problems that other translations had, like incorrect pronouns, weird grammar, and other small issues with text, unsurprisingly the biggest offender being the in-game bestiary (for example, the Bandit Leader page describes him as "a real bad guy who has done most of the bad things he has done".)

dang I just started to play this and was really looking forward to it but that bug just kills it for me a bit though slightly
Tried to play this again and gonna drop it for the same reason - I still can't save the game.
Any saves that were there before cannot be overwritten and any blank saves create a "save" that sends me into an endless loading screen when loaded.
I know this game has a great gameplay but not being able to save due to a bug kills it for me.
EDIT: Correction - I still can't overwrite a save, but the "corrupted" save is only created if I deleted a save mid-game. If the spot was blank when the game started the game saves normally.

Anyone know how to find the file for the music that plays during game overs and bad ends? Or have a link to the song?
Off chance question. Did you put the game in the default windows or programs folders? Windows can have issues with that, since it sometimes doesn't like letting programs edit files there.
Heyo! I needed to asked, I downloaded the DL-site ver. but how do I apply the uncensor and translation patch to it?

make sure that the game folder does not have this checked, many save problems happen because of that.
It's in the "Downloads" folder. I have since moved it elsewhere, but it didn't help.
Read-only was indeed checked, but I have unchecked it now. No change, when I tried to save it's like it overwrited the stats in the save file, but not location or play time.
Also the folder reverted to read-only, but none of the save files had that checked.
EDIT: And now I'm completely stumped. I have used the locale emulator to run in jap admin and it rewrote the location but not play time... Once.
When I tried again it once again did not rewrite the location or play time (or equipped magic), but did rewrite the stats.
EDIT2: And next try. It overwrote the location, but not play time on the first try, then I changed some of my setup (equipped a magic spell), and saved again and now it overwrote the play time. Reminds me of SC2 and its "Save Failed" problem.

the first level of version 1.0.7 is bugged. the event doesnt start and its just a red partical instead saying something isnt right
