source?i hope its true bro
It's not. The only thing that has changed regarding the Unity situation was a bit of backtracking on the "charge for repeat installs" to "charge only for the first install." They're fully committed to this decision; don't expect them to drop it

That being said: too many people are misinformed about this. 99% of porn game developers will not be affected at all because they don't meet the requirements to start being charged

But I still can't get how to unlock "Player" option in punishment room so if anyone has any idea, feel free to tell me.
And does anyone else think that if there was a corruption system where she starts to enjoy scenes, it would be awesome? Personally I don't like rapey stuff as much but I can deal with it if it's just fiction.
is it posible? i didnt read anything about it, so i believed it was left out of the development when the creator finished

Night of Revenge has plenty of developer jank lying around:
  1. Some weapons don't scale in attributes they say they do, making them garbage.
  2. Poor weapon balance on the heavy and slow side.
  3. Overall balance of the experience is so poor that players often find the game vastly too easy and have to use mods to really feel how fun this game could have been with greater attention to balance.
  4. A chance for "trick weapons" (mostly staff) to freeze the player in place if attack is spammed rapidly, softlocking if not attacked.
  5. Soft-locks happen when an enemy grabs you that has no animations for that scenario; this is only applicable to the Merman boss at the top right of the sunken valley.
  6. Soft-locks happen any time an enemy grabs the player on an unstable moving surface like a bridge, prone to happening on the leftmost bridge with the Merman and mimic in the sunken valley.
  7. Some entries in your book for enemies remain incomplete despite interacting with everything as much as possible.
  8. Options in some menus and dialogue are never selectable.
  9. Aradia's Status in the pause screen never changes from "normal".
  10. Some animations that would reasonably give Aradia her "stained" set of portraits near her health bar and in the pause screen don't.
  11. Costumes are "illusory", which is a nice way to say the appearances don't carry into sex or game-over scenes because visual assets did not account for costumes to be added for those later.
  12. Holes in levels from slightly-off placement of assets.
  13. The underground graveyard next to the ranch was clearly an afterthought rushed due to time constraints - a tiny little square room with densely packed treasure placement and a couple new enemies though not many enemies overall.
  14. In the most recent upload of the game particle overlay animations are frozen both on title screen and whenever they appear in levels.
  15. Some NPC sex anims are not repeatably visible when they are a good fit for the gallery. Apply this to specific game-overs too.

NoR is a good game despite these flaws but could have been more. D-Lis really had to rush to put the game out, I can see he was struggling with managing his time. He did get married during development so he has more to deal with. The game probably does not have sufficient playtesters reporting back, likely because the dev's primary communication channels are Japanese language only.

The option to talk to Vendetta that is never highlighted was likely an access point to travel to a DLC area, similar to how his earlier game Bullet Requiem got an additional area added after the final boss. There may yet be a DLC added, which also enables further modding of the game by having more stuff to replace.

That said, I have to congratulate D-Lis on his art becoming so much stronger. The difference in art quality between Bullet Requiem and Night of Revenge is stunning.

Well I actually beat the game, never though I'd feel empty after finishing a h-game
My head hurt from all the MTL but I mostly understand it

You should consider trying the new upload since the translation there is practically perfect! Warning: the first upload has a slight but significant botch in the files prefixed "sharedassets11" in the game's data folder that causes a progress lockup from losing control. You can fix that by taking those files from the other upload, though that version is not uncensored. So you have to download the game twice just for the patch files which does suck. Or if you were on v1.07 yourself you can just take those files from there and transplant them into the perfectly translated version.

I guess Aradia did deserve to know better, but the point of the game you'd understand from having a perfect translation is that Aradia feels guilt for ignoring her father's wishes to not seek revenge and after seeing signs that she will always live to be a vessel of violence she chooses to stop it all.

so the bestiary is bugged, i knew i didnt miss anything
I can't 100% confirm it but after so many playthroughs I can 95% confirm it. Considering entries probably don't get logged unless you kill one or get grabbed by one, I'm willing to bet it's something stupid like inanimate objects that hurt or knock you down on contact. The modders who worked on making new enemies by substituting on top of an existing enemy may know of one that's not used anywhere in the game. I don't work on modding Unity yet since I lack time but it looks interesting.

umm, well on one side i only want it to know really if the player option in punishment room was actually selectable, that's it
when i said "left out" it was a personal opinion since i couldn't unlock it, not speaking from a dev point of view, so yeah not exactly understand why you reply to me with this.
But on the other side, i do like the game a lot, so great info on it, highly aprecciate it.
Since you seem to like it a lot, do you know if that option is selectable at some point?
plus a guy a few comments above, talked about a psycho ending making aradia forget her revenge, is it true? and if it is how do i obtained??
thanks a lot in advance.

Nope, that option is never able to be selected at all! That's what I meant when I said "developer jank", I mean stuff the developer left unfinished or in weird unfunctional states.

Well, the psycho ending is not about Aradia "forgetting" her revenge, he true ending that is sad is. Her psychotic break ending is her teaming up with her original self to kill all members of the church and all witches currently alive, because both the original and clone Aradia now believe that if all of the church and all witches die then the world can be happy for humans. Except they forgot about demons, and their red eyes indicate they may have become victims of demonic corruption which could lead to more killing.

interesting, and the "??????" option along with "take revenge" and "see nightmare" after you are defeated is also unfinished? or can be unlocked?

That's a legitimate option that is unlocked later if you die plenty of times. Once unlocked you can see it after any given death even if your character is a virgin on that save file. A prerequisite may be that Aradia needs to get "raped" at least once though it does not have to be a vaginal rape that steals her virginity. I am 100% sure that after a handful of deaths and a rape that does cause virginity to get lost it'll remain unlocked for the rest of the save file even if you Alt+F4 and savescum that away.

Spoiler for what that option is: The Defeat ending. Aradia admits defeat as it was only a matter of time before the church defeats her through sheer numbers of highly skilled opponents. She is taken as a sex slave to be used for enjoyment by church witchhunters. As Aradia just finishes serving a man she notices she and him are alone. She loses her mind and dominantly fucks the man as he begs for help to his fellows who are no longer listening. Aradia's eyes are red, showing she has fallen into lustful demonic corruption.

wow thanks a lot, i finished and unlock everything i could think of, but that and few things were imposible, and didn't find any guide with the specifics you gave me, really thanks a lot
to be honest aside from the ero content wich is great, it is a really good game with a lot potential to be even greater, such a shame is left like this, let's hope d-lis comesback to give it more to the game, this dev certainly is a follow to whatever future content releases.
on the other side besides the mod that increases the difficulty and add a few options in relation to the stamina and the struglle system, have you try any other interesting mods?

Other than uncensor and translations, I have tried 2 mods that increase difficulty. Based on your mention of "options", you probably tried NoREroMod and did not try BonedMod.

In the case of BonedMod it was not very configurable and enemies were easier than the default settings of NoREroMod's elite enemies, but a couple key boss fights were much harder in BonedMod than NoREroMod. Candore and Original Aradia 2nd form can be brutally difficult if you were using a mod which enabled bosses to grab players into animations and their grab animations were finisher kills. If you go back to earlier pages before NoREroMod's release to where people generally used BonedMod, you'd see myriad complaints that Candore and Original Aradia 2nd form were way too difficult because they easily grabbed then killed the player because escape was much harder. Many people complain about Boned's series of difficulty mods but I enjoy them and his mod for Alien Quest Eve felt fantastic.

What I did enjoy about BonedMod in retrospect is how much conscious effort was put into nerfing dash-dodge -- the player would slow down when dashing through enemies, which would always result in the enemy grabbing the player if they were not still playing an attack animation. I enjoy NoREroMod so much more because of its configurability, and have played through the game with 60 stamina cost per dodge instead of the usual 20. I'm currently now trying a different kind of config in which dash cost is 75 (minimum for testing, 90 stamina cost might be justified) and time to regen is down to the standard 2 secs instead of 3, but with more focus on blocking. The game generally puts so much focus on dash-dodging and extending fast-attacking weapon combos through dash-dodging that weapons that are slower or prioritize blocking instead of damage get ignored.

I will say the cheesiest build I didn't expect being so good is using the spear-launching holy staff you find in the path of Eternal Rest in a pure mage build with twinkling enhancement and Sword of Praise spell. With not much effort you'll be dealing near 500 damage per hit of a spell that hits twice in rapid succession with a huge magic pool, and the launched spears aren't so bad to use once you learn jump-attack activates them to move if you can't use normal attack twice in a row. In particular since Original Aradia 2nd form is weak to holy magic it's a final boss melter. Demons tend to be weak to holy so the rifle found in the same location often fares better than the stronger cannon found earlier.

Edit: a feature I'd appreciate for NoREroMod is tuning variables on boss enemies. Besides bosses being much easier than normal enemies (or elite enemies with 95% spawn rate), they also give a lot of EXP (I let enemies only give me 10% of their EXP). I just like to enjoy the game by making it more fun, but this is definitely not the way to play for someone who hasn't beaten the game at least twice over.

Thanks a lot for everything you wrote
learn a lot, and see what i couldn't before for lack of knowledge
Alien quest eve, tried that one also great, didn't kwoe about bonedmod there so, replay time
Any recomendation on games like Nor or alien? been looking but didn't found anything like it
many recomend sinistar but way too much gore for my taste, Nor had gore but the erotic aspect was by far much more appealing so as alien quest, did you try any other like those?
