Regalia is a fan-made HTML conversion of the game.Regalia?

sure. At first you need a slaver with folklorist or magic nature or maybe elemenatalist water? Cant remember but i think one of e:wa and m:na on one slaver and flk on another should be fine for the first part. You need to crit twice on the first part, and select the try to learn something option. I dont remember the exact wording tbh but its something like that. After critting twice youll get a text saying search for the thornspire key unlocked. Then you do the explore the city assignment and after succeeding or criting on it youll get a short text with a thornspire rumor and a short quote from some rando in the city that will point you to what assignment you can get a part of the key from. I think you need three of them and the assignments are for example the dranei caravan one, mistress of torment, i think grove creepers maybe? Or both in infamy. I cant really remember all of them but if you get a hint thats not clear to you you can scout the city again to generate another one. You do those assignments, as far as i know you dont even have to hit success on them to get the key part, its rng if you get it. You get three part and go on thornspire part two. Its more exploring at that point, im pretty sure you need folklorist on this one as well. The third part i really dont remember at all, Ill try to do it today since i was looking to have a run through with the new version anyway and get back to you about it.frankensteiner316
If you're willing, could you explain the steps after acquiring the key for Thornspire? I recall you mentioned you completed the quest and I'd appreciate it, as I'm rather stumped.
I can't for the life of me get it to convert, just a whole load of "Setup game data not defined" and ENOENT errors. Probably just me being stupid but between me not knowing a lick of Ruby and RAGS being RAGS I'm not sure I wanna spend any more time banging rocks together.Whenever a kind soul converts it.
Luckily for you, banging rocks together happens to be a favorite past time of mine. Right after playing porn games, apparently.I can't for the life of me get it to convert, just a whole load of "Setup game data not defined" and ENOENT errors. My leader is definitely gaining his.I think the encampment leader don't get traits on levelup.
The game does mention a trait limit, though I haven't thoroughly tested the "limits" of it. What I do know is that after a certain number of traits, level ups stop offering traits that are not aspects (For both slavers and the leader). This number (sometimes) does not match the mentioned limit for the slaver, and getting the limit increase reward sometimes doesn't seem to reverse it in my (over the years and different versions and conversions) testing. The Green Door assignments on critical have a chance of increasing a participant's trait limit, so you could try that. One problem I've had for ages is that when I make a customized encampment leader with a lot of traits, they lose the ability to gain new traits on level up.------(especially Flying, I want it so bad ;-; )

Thanks! This explains a lot!My leader is definitely gaining his.

Flying can be "gained" via Slaver Upgrades (Exploration III). This in particular is a version that only turns on when it is beneficial, and turns off when it isn't (flavor test is that they have a rental flying mount), making it superior to the basic Flying trait. Getting the training on a slaver with basic Flying also does not give them the ability to turn it off when harmful. Imo, this effectively makes the best "Fliers" anyone who "cant" fly. Biggest negative is that Exploration III is the most expensive training iirc of the top of my head.
Keep using the leader/your character for assignment and when you asked to choose slaver between 5 slavers, you choose the bonus instead. With that way, atleast it works for me.ive literally never seen a trait to pick on a level up for the leader
(Psy) in the first slot. (M:Co) in the second slot, whatever in the third. In order to acquire Tessa Verstecker from Adversarial Affairs, the (M:Co) trait goes in the second slot, and I'm unsure if it's either (Psy) or (Min) that's required in the first slot.
Cancel assignment bugged in rags too ? Never seen that, you can cancel during selection without issues in my experience. It's so annoying that the cancel assignment button isn't working! I know a workaround for the RAGS version - is there one for Regalia as well?
So, I'm playing using Rags 2.6.1.0.
It seems more stable than the older one, but after some months I get predictable freezing when choosing assignments.
The number of active assignments possible seems to be decreasing - I first noticed the game hanging whenever I have more than10,then more than 7 and now more than 6.
Any idea about a fix?
You probably do the trading for clothes in the city area right? got myself that error after bought the outfit from there. CMIIW just use the outfit you get from clothes and armor maker in your camp.Anyone know how to fix this ?
When I equip armor to replace the one I was wearing. The old one go back to equipment storage but the game does't count it.
Example - my character is wearing an armor and I have 6 more in storage.
I equip one in storage and the one I was wearing get replaced and go into storage.
Then I sell all armors inside storage but I can only sell 5, I can sell the armor I just replaced but 1 option will always remain.
And if you replace armor more than once it will add up the numbers of option you can not interact with like cancel button.
Assignment upgrades are just flat bonuses, I'm not sure why they should cause trouble. This is not a "fix" per say, but I had the same issue and noticed that the number of assignments seems to decrease as I got more scouting and assignment upgrades. If I had to wager a guess I would say that rags eventually burns itself out trying to keep track of everything, but for now I just do not take any of those upgrades and hope that things will be resolved once everything is eventually moved to twine
